What's annoying about this statement is that liberals don't have a number in mind. They also can't justify any number except to say that the rich person makes more than most people. If you said something like a 15% flat tax for everyone I think most people could just leave it at that. The other issue is that liberals have a bad habit of factoring in assets and theoretical wealth into their tax plans which is just fucked. People shouldn't have to sell their property to pay their taxes. Taxes should be less than what they actually earned within the year. We tax people both when they spend money and when they make money punishing them for merely holding it is fucked. Their retarded tax plan would punish farmers and home owners and would cause a recession every time tax season came along. It also would lower investment in america and cause wealth to flee the country so they wouldn't get robbed.
