Russia expends far more artillery shells and missiles to saturate the enemy lines and rear than are actually needed. Russia is either incapable of or unwilling to destroy key Ukrainian domestic weapon manufacturing sites, and Ukraine which is a third world shithole itself, can somehow replenish its own materiel losses with domestically produced weapon systems.

All this against one non-NATO country that is given the minimum military support required, on a frontline of approximately 1000kms.

It would be insane to presume that in a war against NATO, with a 4000kms frontline and over a trillion and a half military budget and vastly superior manpower they would fare any better.
