What are gays in the US going to buy now?

Americans have wanted the big 3 to bring AWD sedans back forever. Unfortunately my favorite DD the Cadillac CT will get more popular, but so will Chevy Impala, Chevy Malibu, Ford Fusion, etc. when they come back. Of course I see a lot of the laptop class white suburbanites driving around in Lucids and Rivians these days. I’ve even seen a bunch of the EV Hummers. They’ll buy basically any EV other Tesla that they can afford.

Yes but Subaru is just a yuppie car, not a gay car. It’s just that there’s big overlap between yuppie families and gay kids now.

Yeah, most common brands I see:

Tier 1: Toyota, Honda, Chevy, Ford and Nissan
Tier 2: Subaru, Mazda, Kia, Jeep, Hyundai, Dodge, GMC (Tesla)
Tier 3: Acura, Lexus, Mercedes, Volkswagon, Cadillac
Tier 4: Audi, Infinity, Volvo

Some of this is regional, depends on dealerships in the area and the needs of local drivers. Where I live, Subaru would look like tier-1 because they have a reputation for being good in snow. Less common in Florida.

i wouldn't recommend any euro cars right now
porsches are actually extremely well made, but super expensive, both to buy and especially to maintain long term. if you're literally a multi-millionaire, a 911 or a cayenne are both great. its just going to be an enormous expenditure and very bad value for money.

beyond that, if you can charge at home, buy a tesla, unironically.
used if you're poor. its pretty impossible to argue with the value for money of a used model 3 (or Y, if you need the extra size)
if not poor, the new Y is pretty great. the new 3 too, except for the no turn signal stalk part. still, most drivers report that they get used to it pretty quickly, soo....
the S is good too, but its very overdue for a refresh, so i wouldn't recommend it. and since the new Y has the turn signal stalk, i can only assume that tesla learned its lesson and any future refreshed models will also include it.

if you can't charge at home, i'd recommend a toyota hybrid if you want a car/suv/minivan, or an american trugg if you want a trugg. american SUVs are... well, not exactly *good* per se, buy if you want something that big, its not like you have other options, lol. still, i'd be much more inclined to rec a lexus RX over an american SUV. unless you have 5 kids and 3 dogs, you really don't need more.
