Thinkers who promote “trickle down” economics and a total lack of social programs have been controlling the conservative sphere for a long time, and this has lead people to believe that the problem is the programs themselves rather than their abuse. It also opened the door for black people to point that the statistic that more whites are on welfare than them by far, but again, that was never the real issue.

Second piece of advice? Scour groups and the internet for information as to what sort of programs you may be eligible for, considering your situation. I have always been a big advocate of using any programs that you qualify for, and shamelessly at that. Again, all things that you are legally eligible to claim. Programs, grants, assistance, free this or that, you may be surprised. Continue to keep an eye out for those food drives but also anything else that’s being given out anywhere for any reason as long as it’s an open event. Use coupons like you’re the stingiest jew known to man. Keep an eye out for discounts at all time. As for buying necessities, do some light research into products that are much cheaper due to being off brand yet have the same quality, durability, or effect as the mainstream product. Many online groups for money-saving tips like this. I know it’s sacrilege to say it here, but you should browse around reddit for stuff like this. Don’t be afraid to ask questions in forums, etc.

The thing about programs is, some fall right in to your lap, and the government is constantly screaming about it from the rooftops via PSAs due to political motivations, while others you must seek out. Since I brought up cyber-intelligence’s complete lack of effort towards clamping down on public info sharing about illegal scams, now my mind is on cybersecurity l, so I’ll say as a little tip, be careful you’re on the actual government websites if you’re signing up for something because there are tons of fake domains that most common search engines will have, so do your research.
