Mavic 2 Pro, then Mavic 3, the Mavic 3 Pro, finally the mini Mavic.
The 2 Pro is where DJI peaked, but they nerfed the firmware and installed a bunch of glownigger restrictions and controls on it which makes it fucking useless for photojournalism or anything you would want to do without the government janny holding your hand. The VR goggles that synced with the 2 Pro's gimble were fucking amazing. I own a charter fishing boat and I used to use my Mavic 2 Pro to scout schools in the pelagic zone, and my clients got so excited by it that I splurged and bought the headset so they could wear it while I hunted for a school. Always popped the soft suburban weekend warriors that would hire me when they threw the goggles on and started to chimp out to their friends and family about how awesome it was.

The marines and army have been training that shit alot since the mid 2010s so they expect to do warfare in subterranean spaces, I mean it makes sense honestly with satellite imagery and scouting in general becoming so easy to spot your movement before it happens.
well right now they`re remote controlled by humans and they can be jammed and you`re usually coming up against one or a few at a time at most. and they rarely have any weapons mounted to them so they have to explode on impact. but we are starting to see more autonomy (which for now typically only kicks in when close to target if the pilot gets jammed) on these drones and some of them now carry double barrel shotguns.
in the near future? fully autonomous swarms of hundreds even thousands of drones carrying fully automatic weapons and thermal vision. a swarm could just fly over and depopulate an area. just wipe entire city blocks clear of humans.

Sappers in medieval and early modern era times did it quite successfully without any sort of instruments besides calculating the coordinates of where they need to dig.
Navigating is easy and they will probably constantly scan for audio nearby their tunnels to not get counter sapped.

idf has recently been using foam grenades. you toss when and the tunnel gets filled with foam that quickly hardens and becomes impassable. or so they say, i haven`t seen any footage of this in action. but they say its been helpful in clearing out tunnels and preventing ambush from side tunnels etc

also when the next generation of batteries come out it could easily double the range of such drones. they could also autonomously go back to a generator to recharge themselves. targeting those generators might help but i assume they`ll be well defended. the generators could also be drones that relocate if under attack. more drones to refuel the generator drones that power the kill swarm drones.

I imagine a lot like the tunnel rats in Vietnam who had to flush out the viet Kong with a pistol, grenade and flashlight while feeling in the dark for booby traps like punji pits or trip wires

you could deliver the drones with bombers, eventually drone bombers, instead of dropping bombs they drop a swarm that sets up shop in an area and maintains a presence there. occasionally drop in some fuel pods and replacement drones.
The police already use infrared and electric cameras to look through walls, so most likely something expanding on this. The better people's internet gets the easier it is to use to map a house, so soon they'll have maps of literally every house that has decent internet and they'll be able to watch you jacking off.
