1. The supreme court doesn't have the time to hear every federal case in the country
2. You don't want FEDERAL law being applied differently in different districts, because people don't want every law in their life potentially changing when crossing state lines. Imagine you shoot someone in self-defence, get cleared by a federal court, and then can't cross state lines for the rest of your life because some other state might decide to arrest you for murder because they don't like guns.

Frankly I think this bill goes too far because it limits injunctions to the parties. I think an injunction should be allowed to apply the that court’s district.

District court judges are federal you fucking moron, this has nothing to do with states. It's one branch of the federal government preventing another branch from running the other branches.
All this does is prevent federal judges from enjoining the entire government, which is an insane state of affairs. It means some random district court judge is more powerful than a Supreme Court justice
