To give more context to this image here: The way I see it, most of these little countries are really exo-states of a larger economy. The South American countries orbit Brazil, the Southeast Asian countries orbit China, the Eastern European countries orbit Germany to some extent.

These shitty third world economies by nature tend to have a trade deficit with the US. And most of their export is to the economy they orbit.
So by applying pressure to the big-country, you are also applying a lot of pressure against the smaller ones.

For this reason, I believe the 10% rate is appropriate. I also believe that China is an adversary and the tariffs cannot be high enough on them.
But for these bigger economies, like Brazil and the EU, there needs to be a battle to claw back industry. Tariffs should be higher.

Also very special attention needs to be given to Vietnam. In the future this country will serve an extremely important role in boxing in China. Something needs to be done to make them dependent on the US. Or at least, make the US an attractive option for them. As of now, their industry is connected at the hip to China. It's all Chinese people running those factories.
