Usually not, those donuts are usually somewhere around 3/10, at best you can reliably get them for 2.50 each.
I can regularly get strawberries for 1.50, but when they're not available for that price some other fruit is available for that price. Fruit prices regularly dip into sub-2 dollar range because they want to keep their stock rotating.

And of course, some fresh fruit that rots / gets moldy should be more expensive than some donut that sits in a sealed box for weeks, but it's usually not only because you need to keep your strawberries and other fruit rotating.
