What should be my first gun?
What should be my first gun?
5/7
Beretta M9
The one that feels right in your hand, that gives you confidence, and that you can find ammo for.
Glock 27 .40 SW.
i have a sig 229 in .40 cal. very good gun.
Taurus G3c
yep
357 mag revolver, 10mm glock full size, 9mm all steel frame semi, or 22 cal rifle with iron sights and a sling.
I hear that sigs are trash and they just go off sometimes
Last Sig I bought the slide cracked at 62 rounds down the pipe.
No service.
Done with them.
1911. Like any sensible American.
i carried one in the coast guard for 10 years and have owned one for almost 20 years. never went off once and i shoot very well with it
Anything but Sig.
What if he's not a trust fund kid?
sorry man. must have been a manufacturing defect? ive had nothing but loving memories with mine
sig
cg
Checks out.
Springfield hellcat for Concealed carry
Flintlock pistol for home defense
the cg switched from the beretta to the sig like 20 years ago so yeah checks out
Palmetto State Armory AR-15. Should be the starter gun for every American.
cant go wrong with one of these bad boys
Colt Cobra
Then steal one like the nigger he is. Being poor is a skill issue.
i use a ruger lcp in .380 for conceal carry. a fun little gun
Sig from 20 years ago is not the same as today. Anything manufactured by them in the past 5 years is trash. Just like how most manufactured goods
Found out later it's a pretty common failure. They had gone from forged to extruded slides.
I’ve owned one handgun, and it’s still my favorite. The Beretta 92FS. Man, was it sexy. Fuck those ugly plastic glocks.
Glock i dont know i am an eurocuck.
gray
most people get a pistol. the vast majority of guns used in murders are pistols. I would recommend the smallest possible gun you can find. A ruger LCR or LCP are a good choice. The best gun is the one you have on you, and the one you are most likely to take is the smallest. Glock 26 if you absolutely have to have 9mm.
Go to gun store and ask to hold a few. Buy what feels nice in the hand and that you think looks cool.
You will be more likely to practice and train if you think the gun is rad.
Secondly, cheap ammo is important
22lr is cheap but is not very fun after a while.
38 special is cheap, effective, and the revolvers that use it can go much longer without use and maintenance than an autoloader. Really great if you are just getting into guns and don't want to over invest your time into monthly maintenance
9mm or 45acp is fantastic for autoloader pistols like the one in your picture.
Remember, plastic frame is easy to carry but can be hard to shoot unless you really practice at it. While steel framed pistols like the 1911 are easy to shoot but can be hard to carry if you don't invest extra into a nice gun belt or fancy holster.
9mm has power recoil than a 45. So keep that in mind when selecting plastic or steel framed guns.
Or a 12 gauge shotgun is always a classic. It will work for just about everything you could want, they are cheap, and you can always deck it out like a custom car if you feel inclined later.
Seconded. Relatively cheap, plentiful, reliable and literally battle proven. Learn DA/SA, safety decocker is nice too. Bonus, it's iconic. Every movie where someone pulls a gun, chances are it's one of these Breddas.
oh didnt know that. bummer. i havent bought a gun in years.
Most gay possible option
It doesn't really matter because you'll never use it.
You should get a relatively inexpensive semi auto handgun chambered in 22lr. The ammo is very cheap, so you will be able to practice a lot more to gain basic skills, and the recoil is negligible, so you'll be able to learn good techniques without making beginner mistakes like squeezing your lower fingers in anticipation of recoil. Once you get comfortable with your gun and shooting, you'll have a much better idea of what gun to get next as your first "real" gun. Also, 5.7 is a meme cartridge, .40 SW is a nigger cartridge, .357 is a boomer cartridge, and 10mm is a tryhard cartridge.
Maybe it’s all bullshit I just watch lots of videos on them. I think I’m gonna get a m&p body guard 2 because I’m sick and .380 is about all I can really shoot well anymore
I just picked the first one that was on sale. Of course black is available. Owning an AR should be every American's duty. Plus, at that price ($400) it's affordable too. Eurocucks and Leafs will never have that same freedom.
A glue gun! It's more useful in a civilized area.
Niggers are a huge threat in America.

Phased plasma rifle, 40 Watt range
inb4 hey pal just what you see
Wrong.
Magnum Research Desert Eagle
flintlock pistol for HD
Nice. Have Spanish M-1857 Musket by Thomas Turner for HD.
Fires a one ounce slug and the black powder cloud and boom brings everyone running at the range.
"Less recoil" not "power recoil "
Phone posting
If you live urban glock 19, building an 80% one is stupid simple and fairly cheap. If you live rural then either an ar15, ptr91, FAL, or ar10. The last 3 are more expensive, but .308 will reliably take any game in NA and can puncture most body armor.
I'm gonna check myself because I already wrecked myself.
America isn’t a civilized area
1911
Something that feels confident in your hands, that you can muck around with, without getting into too much trouble. Cheap ammo for hundreds of rounds of target practice.

Before you graduate to a 9mm.
Smaller and lighter guns are much less controllable. Bad choice for first timers.
CZ P10, variant that suits you. It just works. Dont listen to murricans with their big ol' fawty shawty who only shoot beer cans in the backyard.
M134 and/or RPG-7.
unless it is a revolver
.380 works.
Shot placement critical and very acheivable.
You don't need to use it, just brandish it and really sell the illusion that you are unhinged and ready to die, they'll usually fuck off
asking nu-Anon Babble for gun advice
Sig is like Harley Davidson. Ypu have an old one, worth it's weight in gold. Anything post 2015 is worthless
Glocks are indeed ugly although I own many of them.
For sexy nothing gets me off like my CZ 52 collection.
The muzzle blast in low light brings rangies over.
The PPH is hawt, as well as my Sterling Colefire.
Small guns are pros guns. Even revolvers.
Just get a Glock 19 that's optics ready.
You'll be surprised to hear this but I used to shoot clay pigeons before my eyesight became bad.
Bersa Thunder Plus
15 rnds
its like a high capacity bond gun that fits in a pocket
very cheap at $300
dont buy plastic guns, plastic guns are toys made for kids
It's a chick doofus.
I bought my first (and only) gun a while back: a glock 17
I kinda regret it 'cause it's so big and chunky. I probably should have chose something smaller. A better fit for my girly hands.
Bodyguard 2.0
It is literally the perfect daily concealed carry. I bought one for my wife then after trying it at the range I bought myself one too and it's replaced my normal carry. It's simply the best concealed carry option. Warning though, for whatever reason S&W made the perfect daily carry but refuse to fix the sighting issues at the factory so your sights WILL be aligned wrong. After you get one pay your local gunsmith 20-30 bucks and get the sights aligned properly.
Whatever has ammo that's cheap enough that you'll shoot regularly til things like basic shooting fundamentals & gun safety are drilled into you. Oh and don't feel like a pussy if it ends up being a .22. There's nothing wrong with a .22
I was thinking about getting one of these but they are bigger then I expected for a .380
That's a joke, right? 1911 are not particularly expensive, anon.
a small revolver is an ok only gun for a beginner. the lack of action makes up for the small size being harder to handle for a new shooter. i wouldnt recommend a small auto to a new shooter, but there are new shooters which will never need or want to shoot semi that will only own one gun and even if they're new shooters, a small wheel gun is the right gun sometimes. assuming they've got you to teach shooting, new shooters, especially wheel shooters, become pro shooters very fast. good triggers and no tricks except pull the trigger again makes training very linear.
Well lucky for you, Glocks are like liquid cash on the firearms market, and you can easily sell it for maybe a tiny loss and put the money towards a better gun, like a 1911
Based Nigguh.
