I started to build my own chan because I'm sick of this place.
I want geo blocks per board and proper moderation and fun word filters with a % chance to run instead of banned words.
Privacy focused by design super low footprint and over head, 90% GNU stack.
No DBs, No JS, No API. Just flat files manipulated by scripts.
Everything will render as static html, once you post the changes the html is updated and your post is added to the bottom of the thread.

Got to get some HW, but I'm aiming for Christmas. Will run distributed across 5 SBCs.

Open to any suggestions anons might have. The site needs to be fully functional without JS. The only JS I just have is JS timer and a button for putting post numbers in the text box, that's it. And with the button you can still manually type >>>postnumber in the text box with JS turned off.
SO far I have a single cookie, that might rise to two.
