I never cared about ending the war in Ukraine and thought re industrialization would take just as many decades as de industrialization. As for deportations, the treasonous judges are getting dealt with and it should increase exponentially pretty soon.

Trump made a very ambitious sales pitch and it is undeniably true that so far he has not lived up to that promise. That doesn't mean that things won't come together eventually, and overall I am still optimistic for Trump's term.
But the war in Ukraine is still ongoing and still being supported by the US. In a few weeks Ukraine will run out of missiles supplied by Biden and that will be the real test. We'll see if Trump chooses to resupply them or not. But Zelenski has been giving Trump the run around and frankly by this point Trump should have just cut Ukraine off and let Zelenski and the Europeans decide how that conflict unfolds going forward.
The tariffs are a mixed bag. Really it is too early to make a call. But the thing that annoys me is the lack of clarity on what the objective here is. Are we trying to set up long term protections with the aim of bringing certain industries back to US soil? Or are we placing large tariffs as a hard ball bargaining chip to renegotiate more favourable trading terms that aren't necessarily designed to bring industry back to the US but rather just support existing US industry by making them more competitive in foreign markets? Or is this whole thing just an economic attack on China in a game of super power geopolitics?
The uncertainty surrounding this issue is frustrating, and as a cucked Australian it is difficult to defend Trump's policy to all the retards I'm surrounded by when the actual goal of the policy is so unclear.
The border and ICE stuff I am less invested in and it is hard to make an assessment being so far from the US. I like what I see but then again you see people saying that the rate of deportation is lower than Biden so I don't know what to believe.

I think we all secretly hoped that Trump would walk into office and the world would simply bend to his will and vision. This was obviously never going to happen, but it was the pcture Trump painted, so its fair to be disappointed.
