Media people don't understand how trivial the site actually is to maintain because they're used to social media sites requiring large data centers and hundreds of paid full-time employees. There's no crazy algorithm curating the site, there's no huge archive, you can't just dump huge files on the site, its basically impossible to hide shady behavior because every post you make sends you to the top of the catalog or front page which makes moderating fairly easy.

It's kind of funny, when I thought Anon Babble might be dead for good, I wasn't even bothered. I obviously visit and post, but as the saying goes "Anon Babble was never good". That being said, I'm glad it still exists. As shit as it is, it's a bastion of free speech.
