After a long court battle, I just won €350k in inheritance

After a long court battle, I just won €350k in inheritance.
TL;DR: living in bergen, My parents divorced when I was 3. I was raised by my mom as an only child. My dad later remarried a widow but had no kids with her. After he passed away, he left a fortune, and since he had no other children, that inheritance rightfully belongs to me. I’m in college and don’t know what to do with this money. I'm trying to get a passive income out of this.
I have few options here:
1. Drop out of college, I'm 21 majoring in marine biology( year 2 with 2.5 gpa), then put all my money on government bonds (probably the most conservative way), receive 4-5% annually year, then get married and start to build family to save the white race.
2. Don’t get married, like most of the common advice rich men could give is don’t get married because in marriage always give you more drama. Kid is not worth it anyway nowadays with the influence of globohomo and open borders, you only live once so spend your money carefully. With this option, I could maximize my potential to flip my money even bigger.
3. Leave Norway because this shithole has high taxes. We produce oil yet taxes is on Denmark level. Leave to Eastern Euro/ Balkans. My option is Lithuania,Montenegro, Bulgaria, or Belarus and start business or some retail store or buy property and make it airbnb and completely start a new life. Marry Balkan woman etc, I don’t care about my home country since my parents were gone

And also my father is actually bought a house so I can also fight for that but that is for later, I'm not greedy, maybe in 2030 my head is full rn.

why not ask Anon Babble

Pajeet tier board that always shill for meme coins nobody is serious there they only relevant during gme thing.

why marine biology

It's stupid, I know. My father was in the navy. He always wanted me to be in the navy too, but my parents got separated. Is it good or not? Should I continue? I still have to pay the college tuition bill

that is, most assuredly, a man

what do you think

Buy a 200K house, put the rest in the bank (expenses for the house/life), and then carry on studying for the future. You talk as if you've inherited 10X as much.

Buy a comfortable house in a nice area. Invest. Relax and enjoy life.
What not to do: Gamble, invest in risk, try ot be a millionaire in 12 months.
Invest in yourself: get healthy, learn things.

Why would you drop out of school over 300k

Hire a financial advisor now because you are retarded and going to lose everything if you manage your money.

Tldr but you've already won life by being a rich Norwegian. Go to r/firstworldproblems or something.

Hire a financial advisor now because you are retarded and going to lose everything if you manage your money.

Yes, this.
You won't be the first to piss it all away before your brain is even fully formed, and you won't be anywhere near the last.

I'd buy a sensible house with half of it, and then go to an advisor for the other half or whatever. Just know that you do not know, and you will be half way better off immediately.

How much is the college? Can you switch to, say, marine engineering?

Option 2 is based

How many times are you going to spam this thread you stupid nigger

this. OP doesn't know how bad shit's gonna get. A house gives you so much stability and peace and at this level his best investment. And marry with a prenup, untie the prenup a bit from three children and fully when they are 18.

Bro you should open a taco truck in Mumbai

Because marine biology has no future

Wherever you are and go: look up whether the government can consider you married to a woman if you just live with them for long enough.

this way she knows she will be cared for and won't end up on the street ugly and old and penniless.

Instead of asking us what to do, go talk to a financial planner
The people who know what to do. Not some retards on Anon Babble

I just won €350k in inheritance

dogshit payout bro. at 21 you still have to keep working.

what with his whole year's salary? And pay through the nose for 'advice' for what is a simple question? OP needs to buy a house and get on with his studies.

Leave Norway because this shithole has high taxes

Bare flytt til Svalbard.

kids not worth it

Ethnic European whites are a minority on this planet, having children is the single most valuable thing you can do with your life.

First of all, you’re talking as though you inherited 3.5 million euros, not 350k€. I’m assuming this is because you’re in your early 20s and have no idea yet how much things actually cost. 350k€ likely wouldn’t even buy you a house in most parts of Norway.
What you should do is continue your studies, as you’re nowhere near financial freedom (yet). You could likely get a job and save for a few years to ultimately have a fully paid off home, which is max comfy. Don’t fall for the “muh returns” faggots. Having a paid off place to sleep at night provides so much mental comfort that it’s hard to financially quantify.

This. I never knew how important it was until I had my first kid. All of the anti-natalist Europeans need to fuck off and have kids already.

It’s a nice cushion, but you’re definitely going to have to work for a living. Bulgarian might sound nice but I learned the hard way the best way to make money is to be next to the money. Marine biology isn’t terrible, I know a few that make decent livings in pharmaceuticals, just don’t expect to get a job in marine biology, those jobs go quick. But they do pop up for oil rigs from time to time.

Your investment strategy is a bit too conservative for your age, corporate bonds, especially European ones, are super risky for the reward. Defaults are extremely common and idk why people don’t talk about this more.
Half should go into an index fund, 20% into BTC/gold, and the other can go into a down payment on a rental property. Rent a room out to a fellow college student to cover the mortgage.

Get a job out on the offshore oil rigs after graduating. Reevaluate portfolio semi regularly. Don’t be afraid to pull out frequently on downturns depending on your country’s tax codes.

But bonds will hardly cover inflation. Hell if i had 350k at your age id be a billionaire. But all i had was 3500 and I had to spend half that on a desktop. Things worked out tho. Do drop shipping and make tick tok videos promoting your products. At your age your capital shouldn’t all be locked up in passive investments you should have some things that are value added…
Go on temu and look how cheap reactors are. You can make a fortune off of a 10k investment if you have the technical wherewithal.

To be fair, retards on Anon Babble told me about bitcoin in July 2010
I will be forever in debt to those faggots

finish college, diversify your assets, learn to day trade with small sums, find a girl you like and eventually marry her
stay in norway, it's objectively better than most other european countries
if you buy a house, wait for a good deal and ideally get a mortgage with low interest, even if you could buy it outright
if you buy it outright you need a good income in order to build capital via stonks

but most important of all, stay frugal, manage and allocate money appropriately, do not get distracted or it'll be gone in a couple years
please don't be retarded
the housing market is saturated, prices don't have much room to rise anymore
watch patrick boyles video on the matter, I think it's called the frozen real estate market
avg home price in norway is 5K euros per square meter
avg home is ~150 square meters
you do the math britshit

How much did you make?
I wish I had been in the loop back then.

This exact same thread was posted yesterday.

muh sheckels

Fag.

invest more into silver and less into gold
while gold is going way up right now, silver is more critical for the global economy, it's being underproduced and large banks are shorting it to keep things going
if there's ever any major supply chain issue you want to own some

he left a fortune

LOL

but you’re definitely going to have to work for a living

I should rephrase that and say “ your definitely going to have to work for 5-10 years to pay for expenses while your investments mature if you play your cards right”
But retiring at 30 is very much a possibility. You have the right mindset of not spending it all, but you still want a stable enjoyable job while those investments mature. That was probably my biggest mistake in my 20s, I partied to hard not working after my first big break and have the health consequences to show for it. Im rambling at this point but you can get the stability you want in homeownership, with plenty left over for moonshots. Moonshots by definition change with the times. In the early 2000s that was apple. In the 2010s it was bitcoin. In the 2020s it’s been tik tok dropshipping or something. Idk my crystal ball has faded with age. Keep your eyes peeled and have at least 20k of dry powder ready when you see it

Thats a lot of money to most people.
Sure in this retarded day and age it isn't enough to set you up for life but its still a sizeable amount.

Dead serious, buy Chainlink, stake it if you can get room in the pool. You can spend your staking rewards(about 5% APY) without touching your initial investment, and in about 2 years you will have over $10 million

I cashed out the majority of my OG bag of almost 10k after the 700 peak around 400 for about 4 mil sometime in 2014. I set up a more traditional portfolio after that but have been in and out of BTC in earnest since 2017
Needless to say I live comfortably, but I don’t command army’s of satellites like Elon and co, which bugs me. There’s always a bigger fish

omg i thought you were the picrel and read the part about marriage and was like NO NO YOU HAVE TO GET MARRIED

kek if you're a guy then good luck doing anything without God's help. if you think you can trust anyone in this world outside of God and your mother (sometimes not even her) then you are in for the lesson of a lifetime. if i was you, id shut my fucking mouth and never tell a soul, buy a small house in a town far away for you and your mom and never come back. You don't even have to work, you can have a farm and million bucks your mom would appreciate the rural life more. With your money you could have starlink and shitpost with us when your day is done.

I wish you good luck with your new fortune. Remember that this is the Great Pirate Era. People are looking for marks to steal from. Trust only in the All Father, Odin.

Good luck!

Norway is a shithole now Bulgaria or Belarus that's where you want to live

Take your money, avoid marriage unless you hate to be alone, get as many surrogacies as you wish. I would leave Norgay for sure, go to some poor part of Europe and lower your expenses. Get an aupair for the kids and find some way to make money semi-passively with your remaining money.

needs atleast 50pct bitcoin/monero else you'll just be a poorfag forever.

You got $4 million?
Holy shit.

I’m in college and don’t know what to do with this money.

hookers and cocaine. duh.

Yesterday it was $500k lmao.
