Now a new criminal case is being opened against him — for refusing to obey an order. The court date is set for May 5.
Witnesses from his unit, according to Kulikov, were not questioned, although contract soldier Mikhail confirmed the fact of the beating in a personal conversation with him and mentioned that Bizon had threatened other servicemen with "zeroing out," and possibly took their lives. Later, Mikhail avoided giving testimony and meeting with lawyers — and then deserted himself, Kulikov claims.
