You need to learn card counting, it's not complicated like the movies make it out to be. If you can do grade 2 math you can count cards, the tricky part is doing it very quickly. It's assigning values (-1, +1, 0) to different cards and then depending on the system (for example in Hi-Lo) divide the running total by the number of decks remaining to be dealt in order to determine the true count. If your count is +1 or higher you raise your bet because that means there are a higher number of advantageous cards left in the deck to be dealt.
