The LOWER COURTS have been intentionally misinterpreting the 14th amendment for DECADES and its time for that to end.

Wong Kim's parents were legal permanent residents, which makes them subject to the full jurisdiction of, and in allegiance to, the US. It was also not legal for them to become citizens at the time, so they went as far as they could, which also proves their intent.

SCOTUS can't make law, they can only rule on what the law has always been. So if SCOTUS reinterprets the 14th back to the original meaning then it has to be retroactively applied. The only way to do it going forward is for Congress to pass a new amendment
