Employee protections are extremely tough in spain, once hired a company finds it very hard to fire somebody, so companies don't want to hire full time.
Spain has created a "temporary" job category to get people some work experience. Companies now hire about 25% of workforce as these temporary workers paying something like 500euro a month and can be easily fired.
I think they all just become NEETs because they see the Moroccans get NEETbuxx too, so why not Spanish citizens as well?

That and the whole work/life ratio being actively one of the worst in the world + close to no holidays + 48 weekly hours (in which they usually don't take your food break as working hours, so they keep you 9 hours a day in their facilities, sometimes even 10). The only ones who have it worse in that regard are bumfuck nowhere countries like Seychelles and other African countries.
