So far as the "aeronatical" aspects go, there are two things to consider:

1. Fixed-wing aircraft will always have better payload-range capability than helicopters - and quadcopters are certainly helicopters; this is because fixed-wing aircraft (even very small ones) can generate lift to suppor their weight in the air to maintain level flight, and can direct most of their thrust horizontally to overcome drag, whereas e.g. quadcopters have to direct most of their thrust in a vertical direction simply to support their own weight.
2. Batteries, as a means of energy storage, are inherently limited by physics; these are the kind of limitations that no amount of engineering can overcome.

Right now, on e.g. Alibaba (and even from American sources), you can buy a disposable jet engine for use by (serious) hobbyists; they're only about $2 000 or $3 000 each. There's a lot of room for cost reduction, since these engines are only made in relatively small quantitites; if you made them in huge numbers (and heavily automated the process, and cut every possible corner) unit costs would be much, much lower.

Look up production curves/learning curves; the rule of thumb is that there is a 15% reduction in cost (I think in marginal cost) for every doubling in the total quantity of items produced. Incidentally, producing an item in large quantities, to realize economies of scale, is the best way to reduce the cost of any manufactured good.

You can build a miniature jet-powered missile that would only cost about as much as a battery-powered quadcopter; it'd be rather like an ATGM, although much cheaper, in many respects.

Here's an article on old Soviet ATGM designs to give you an idea of what's possible - just replace the rocket motor (it's a motor if it's solid-propellant) with a miniature jet engine, and...!

Airbursting cannons are the domain of something like the BMP-T or other IFVs which would work alongside MBTs. What I have in mind is something that would permit you to eliminate the main gun outright, while still being able to fire a range of projectiles with similar capabilities, both guided and unguided. You would additionally have a smaller-caliber autocannon. Solid rocketry has come a long way; you could design a rocket (look up the Canadian CRV-7, for instance, to see what's possible; also, if it's unguided, it's a rocket, whereas if it is guided, it's a missile) that wouldn't cost much more than a tank shell, but which could, for example, achieve similar muzzle velocities to a KE tank round; the same basic vehicle (for a rocekt projectile is a sort of miniature vehicle) could also carry e.g. an HE-FRAG or HEAT warhead.

How to launch it? Well, it's perfectly possible to have a mechanism - prob. less complicated than the AZ/MZ autoloaders we know and love - that can load these things onto launch rails from inside the hull through small apertures. You'd save a lot of weight by eliminating the long, heavy main gun and its recoil mechanisms, and you'd get main armament that can do double-duty.

Aeronautics in the strict sense isn't quite my field, and it's been a long time since I learned about (the basics of) aircraft propulsion, but you've got to be careful when talking about power for aircraft powerplants, and therefore also power-to-weight ratio. You're probably talking about shaft power relative to motor weight. Actually, even with electric motors in non-air-propulsion applications, you've got to think about things like torque curves and so on...

But anyway, let's see what I recall; propellers - regardless of what turns them - are constant-power machines, whereas jet engines are constant-thrust machines. Simply put, as I recall, the thrust of any powerplant incorporating propellers decreases significantly with speed, whereas with jet engines, you maintain constant thrust over a pretty wide range of airspeeds. This means you can achieve much higher flight speeds. Of course, all forms of airbreathing propulsion lose specific impulse at high flight speeds - look up "actuator disk theory" - but you get more speed with jet propulsion.

It's also not just the motors that you've got to put on an unmanned aircraft/kamikaze drone, but also the batteries. Batteries are rather heavy; fuel tanks are much lighter.

In short, the advantage of jet propulsion is that you will get jet speeds, and you eliminate external rotors; you can design (it's not expensive) your mini-missile to be hard to detect on radar, which will be an important factor. And the advantage of chemical propulsion - this would apply to something powered by a miniature piston engine, too - is that liquid fuels are a much better energy storage medium than batteries for propulsion purposes.

What you'd get is something that would fly perhaps three or four times faster than a battery-powered quadcopter, and which would have far more range and could carry a larger payload, which means you can put a really scary HEAT warhead on it.
