that he decided to deep clean
He's tried to explain that away as it was like a breakup situation, he was "preparing" for "life as a single dad" and this cleaning was his way of "rearranging things", "as he liked".
like removing dry wall and all of that
And that is something that people kept bringing up, they weren't buying it. Really, you did "so much renovations" as well as "so much cleaning"? In an interview last month with The Real Housewives of Alberta, he's added new details to his story. That well since she left he was worried about a "bitcoin hitman" that might come and take his Bitcoin from the house. And he says "wink wink", that apparently this replacing the drywall was because of his hidden bitcoins (steel plates) in the wall that needed to be moved. Now I don't believe this, it sounds ridiculous. But one thing I notice with people who lie about serious crimes, they like to float things, he was saying oh maybe she's in Peru, France, or "just out there on a trip". To see people's reaction. Are they buying this? And likewise with the drywall thing nobody was buying that he did it as a result of "breaking up" explanation so he floated a new explanation.
I don't think that sighting is at all real.
It's either someone (like JF or his brother) calling in the anonymously (4 months, really?) because they want something to line up with the electronic "trail" (that they fabricated) when the police started an actual missing persons investigation.
Or, the RCMP called in JF for several days, to get lots of information on the record, and he goes on about his camping innawoods explanation. They get someone to call in a bogus tip, saying she was in an urban setting. If JF was telling the truth, he'd stick to his guns, listen she told me she was going camping and she took the materials, etc. But what does JF do? He starts to change the story. It's "urban survival" now. He introduces the idea that maybe a "customer" (trucker) took her.
