Another form of survivorship bias is reviews. This is something I hadn't thought about before I heard him talk about it.

The ratings on google reviews and similar are not necessarily accurate because you'll have mostly very dissappointed and very pleased people bothering to rate. Those in between won't be bothered.

I did think about a similar thing though. A lot of times a very low rating is probably just an indication that a place is very "exclusive", ie most people are denied entry, or are kicked out or bullied by staff until they leave on their own. Many of these people want to get revenge by giving a low rating.
