I honestly don’t understand why some foreigners watch Korean dramas and movies.
Think about it — here, all adult content is illegal. We’re the only country in the world where just watching adult content can be considered a crime. Naturally, there’s no nudity whatsoever in Korean films or dramas. Try searching for adult material on Korean platforms like Naver or Daum — everything is blocked by the government, and you won’t even see a search history.
When was the last time a Korean actress had a real bed scene in a drama or movie? Almost never. The most provocative thing you’ll see is a K-pop idol dancing on stage in short shorts — and that’s about it.
So why are some foreigners into this stuff? There’s nothing stimulating or edgy. Most of the plots revolve around bland, politically correct love stories — usually with feminist characters. It honestly feels like trash. Low-quality, radiated nuclear waste, if I’m being blunt.
The more I think about it, the more this place feels like hell. There’s no real freedom here — just censorship, oppression, and control.
The only content that's ever really allowed seems to be these sanitized, feminist romance dramas and films.
