Apparently even before Trump, most Australians (according the Pew and YouGov) had an "Unfavorable" opinion of the US.

Hey mate, personally I don't hate Americans, I just hate the state of the US government of the last 50 odd years. I think when a lot of criticism over here is directed at Americans, it should rightfully fall more towards the gov. Here are the only things I really criticise American people for;
