Reminder that every Russia-supporting burger flag is a shitskin or VPNigger, no exceptions

state propaganda demonizing the "horrible 90s" also does its thing.

the important step to make people accepting the shitty present is to paint the past as an awful hellish era full of stupidity and ignorance and the shitty present as either a natural course of a good progress

for example it's the old stereotype on dark ages, more contemporary example is the western liberals antagonism with the 50s

To sum up, it is in the terrible and abject school of Mongolian slavery that Muscovy was nursed and grew up. It gathered strength only by becoming a virtuoso in the craft of serfdom. Even when emancipated, Muscovy continued to perform its traditional part of the slave, as well as the master. At length, Peter the Great coupled the political craft of the Mongol slave with the proud aspiration of the Mongol master to whom Genghis Khan had, by will, bequeathed his conquest of the earth.

For several days now, China's media have been full of footage of the People's Republic of China Army marching on Moscow's Red Square.

This picture is clearly liked within China and perceived symbolically.

And do not forget about China's territorial claims to Russia.

The European Union is ready to impose new sanctions against Russia if Moscow does not agree to a ceasefire by the end of the day.

"The clock is ticking. If Moscow does not accept the demand, preparations will be set in motion for fresh sanctions," the Federal Government Spokesperson Stefan Kornelius said at a press conference.
x.com/Gerashchenko_en/status/1921891627573919998

Peskov commented on Europe's statement to impose new sanctions if Moscow does not declare a ceasefire today:

"Before this warning, we had already heard the warning the day before yesterday, if you remember. They were also voiced in a rather ultimatum form. Such ultimatum language is unacceptable for Russia. It's not appropriate. One cannot talk to Russia in such a language."

He also said that Putin's proposal to resume talks with Ukraine in Istanbul instead of a ceasefire "has been met with the understanding of the leaders of many countries."

"This approach, aimed precisely at finding a real diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis, addressing the root causes of the conflict, and establishing lasting peace, has been met with understanding and support from the leaders of many countries, including our partners in the CIS, BRICS, and other countries," Peskov said.

"In general, we are committed to seriously seeking ways for a long-term peace settlement," he concluded.

‼At the moment, Russia is ignoring the ceasefire proposal and continues to attack along the entire front line.

President Trump:

"Yesterday, we achieved a total reset with China after productive talks in Geneva. Both sides now agree to reduce the tariffs imposed after April 2nd to 10% for 90 days as negotiations continue on the largest structural issues. First of all, that doesn't include the tariffs that are already on, that are our tariffs, and it doesn't include tariffs on cars, steel, aluminum, things such as that."

He also said he would possibly speak to President Xi Jinping at the end of the week.

Why is Putin stalling for time, lying, and clinging to the war?

The ceasefire will not play to the advantage of the Kremlin elites and Putin himself. Putin's power relies on war.

The end of the war means the emergence of opposition (and possibly an armed one), huge economic problems that cannot be blamed on the war, and redistribution of assets and property.

Putin's power model cannot exist outside of war because, with peace, he loses control over the country.

A part of Russian society, fueled by propaganda, interprets peace talks as a betrayal, and the end of the war will naturally lead to the emergence of an armed and ideologically motivated opposition inside the country.

Putin is very much afraid of his own army and remembers well the Prigozhin mutiny in June 2023. Keeping the army in line is only possible at the front in an infinitely protracted war, and the behavior of soldiers in the event of the end of the 'SMO' may become unpredictable.

So we see the Kremlin delaying a real peaceful solution to the war by any means necessary.

He isn’t wrong. Our threats have as much weight as Russian nuke threats.

President Macron @EmmanuelMacron

"The United States has put forward a proposal for an immediate ceasefire, which the Europeans have supported, saying that we need to build a lasting peace backed up by guarantees in which we take part.

In Jeddah in March, the Ukrainian President said he agreed to an unconditional ceasefire. And yesterday, the Ukrainian President said he agreed to a meeting in Istanbul. That's twice now that he's made major concessions.

We must now all be reasonable. Either Russia, Mr. Putin, is serious and wants peace, or it is not serious and we must impose more sanctions."

Svitlana, a nurse from the 128th Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed a group of Russian occupiers with a well-aimed shot from a grenade launcher, saving her unit from encirclement.

When the Russians attacked with armored vehicles and landing forces, Svitlana was at the company stronghold. At that moment, the unit was left without a commander, so she took command. Svitlana received instructions via radio from the battalion commander.

After a group of Russians entered one of the houses from the rear and took fire control of the escape routes, Ukrainian Warriors were surrounded. At first, Svitlana fired back together with her brothers-in-arms. But when it became clear that the unit’s positions were surrounded, the woman picked up a disposable grenade launcher.

"I asked the guys to hold on and in no case leave their positions, because then we would definitely not be able to stand it. I took a disposable grenade launcher and went to meet the Russian attack unit. They got too close – they were only two houses away. I went around them, got up and fired a shot into the window of the house. The entire group of occupiers remained there," Svitlana recalls.

For her heroism, she was awarded the Cross of the Ground Forces.

Svitlana worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit of the Mechnikov Hospital in Dnipro. She voluntarily went to the front from the first days of the full-scale invasion.

The story of how the Kremlin turned the "Immortal Regiment" into a propaganda tool.

In 2011, Tomsk journalists launched the "Immortal Regiment," a remembrance march where people carried portraits of relatives who participated in World War II.

Back then, 6,000 people took to the streets with photos of their ancestors. The idea was simple: to preserve the family memory of the feat. But two years later, the Kremlin saw in the march the potential for propaganda. By 2013, the Immortal Regiment was held in 120 Russian cities under the control of the authorities, and in 2015, the procession was held for the first time on Red Square with Putin in attendance.

Initially a voluntary initiative, it quickly turned into a compulsory one. Students, public sector employees, and even schoolchildren were forced to participate, often being given portraits of strangers.

This led to absurd situations: after the marches, portraits of war heroes were found in garbage cans, and photos of Hollywood stars, porn actors, and even Nazis appeared in the columns. The event, intended as a personal commemoration, became a cynical spectacle.

* Since 2014, after the occupation of Crimea and the start of the war in Donbas, the Immortal Regiment has become a tool to justify Russian aggression.

The Kremlin began to promote the image of Russia as the sole victor of Nazism, ignoring the contribution of other countries of the Allies. Portraits of terrorists like Givi and Motorola appeared in the processions and, after 2022, 'heroes of the SMO.' The event created to honor World War II veterans now glorified the war against Ukraine.

part 1

The story of how the Kremlin turned the "Immortal Regiment" into a propaganda tool.

The Kremlin used the "Immortal Regiment" to incite militaristic sentiments. The "Z" symbols, which became an analog of the Nazi swastika, and the participation of children in the processions were reminiscent of propaganda events of the Third Reich.

In 2022, the organizers of the movement publicly disassociated themselves from what was happening, saying that the event had lost its original meaning and had become a political tool.

* Outside Russia, the Immortal Regiment has become an instrument of 'soft power.' Russian embassies and consulates organized marches in dozens of countries, promoting the Kremlin's version of history.

Even after 2022, the marches continued, although many countries, including post-Soviet ones, began to abandon them. In Kazakhstan, for example, the procession was renamed "Let's Bow to the Heroes," urging not to politicize the memory, while in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the authorities opposed the use of the event for propaganda purposes.

The Kremlin is using the banning of the Immortal Regiment marches in Europe to accuse the West of 'Nazism' to justify its own aggression. This is part of a strategy where Russia portrays itself as a victim and the war in Ukraine as a fight against fascism.'

* The Immortal Regiment has turned from a remembrance march into a symbol of Putin's propaganda glorifying war and aggression. The feat of ancestors has become a justification for war crimes. Today, the Immortal Regiment is not a memory but a tool that threatens peace. It symbolizes not "never again" but "we can do it again."

oil*

Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov has confirmed what energy analysts have long suspected: Russia is running out of cheap oil. The country is being forced to tap into so-called “hard-to-recover” reserves—deep, complex, and geologically intractable deposits that require expensive extraction methods, advanced technology, and massive government support.

According to Dyukov, even maintaining current production levels now requires tapping into these complex reserves. At Gazprom Neft alone, more than 60% of oil production already comes from these high-cost sources. By 2030, more than half of new oil production across Russia is expected to come from similar sites.

According to another source, the situation is even worse. The share of hard-to-recover oil in Russian reserves is expected to reach 80% by 2030. This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin at Russian Energy Week.

As was already said today, two-thirds of our reserves can already be classified as hard-to-recover, and by 2030 we will be talking about 80% or more that can be classified as hard-to-recover reserves, Sorokin said.

This means that old high-yield, low-cost fields are depleted, Dyukov continued, and what remains underground is not cheap. The golden era of cheap extraction is over. What follows is a sharp increase in production costs, a decrease in profitability, and a growing dependence on the Russian state to keep the system afloat.

Dyukov called for a major overhaul of the oil tax system to make these expensive reserves profitable. He specifically mentioned the expansion of the Excess Profit Tax (EPT) regime, which previously allowed companies to squeeze more out of aging fields. But behind the technical language lies a harsher reality: without tax breaks and government incentives, these reserves are unprofitable at current oil prices.

FABIO FRONT UPDATE

From the local time 23:00 of May 12, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine launching 10 “Shaheed” drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.
All 10 drones were successfully shot down by air defence and no damage was done.
A further launch of Russian drones happened this morning, local time 8:30/9:00, from the occupied Crimea, presumably from Chauda.
It is not yet known about the course, the targets and the results of this attack.

Region of Kursk:

the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to gain a foothold in new settlements in the Russian district of Glushkovsk of the Kursk region.
The bridge on the river Seym, close to the settlement of Zvannoye, it was hit again by an HiMARS rocket.
At the time of the attack, a group of Russians were at the site, trying to evacuate trucks: there were human and material losses.
The Russians complain also about explosions in the Bryansk region.

Northern sector:

toward Lyman, Ukrainian troops repelled an attack north of the settlement of Kolodezi.
Russian troops continue to attack in the area of Lipovoye, Novomikhaylovka and toward Grekovka.
In the district of Borovsk, a Russian assault group entered the first houses on the northeastern outskirts of Redkodub: Ukrainian troops inflicted fire damage on them.
The configuration of the front is to be clarified.

"Russians shoot at civilians. We were sitting on the bench, and out of the blue, boom, and that was it."

67-year-old Mykola lives in Ivanopillia, Donetsk region. In retirement, he used to work as a watchman at a local school until April 2025, when it was bombed.

On May 5, Mykola was sitting on a bench when a guided aerial bomb landed directly in his yard. The fragments completely shattered his right lower limb. One of his neighbors was killed, and another one was seriously wounded.

His lower limb was amputated in Kostiantynivka. Then, Mykola was taken to Mechnikov Hospital in a serious condition, with heavy blood loss. Several liters of blood have been transfused.

Mykola is recovering now. He shares that he is eager to return home and says he is ready to make a prosthesis himself just to be able to walk and see his family.

Steve Witkoff, a Special Envoy to the Middle East and a US negotiator on various international issues, gave an exclusive interview to Breitbart News.

Key points from the interview:

▪ Steve Witkoff told that he hopes a peace summit where President Zelenskyy and Putin meet in person to negotiate the end of the war in Ukraine comes soon.

▪ Witkoff noted that President Trump has "issued an ultimatum" to the two parties that they need to make progress on a lasting peace, otherwise the U.S. is walking away.

▪ Major remaining issues to be hammered include details over the territory in Ukraine, a key nuclear power plant that is currently offline, and Ukrainian access to important waterways:

"I think the major issues here are the regions, the nuclear plant, it’s how the Ukrainians are able to use the Dnieper River and get out to the ocean."

part 1

Cuckraine lost
Z

Peacetalks:

as the comments from the front-line tell, the Russian activities in the area of the fights do not show to slow down.
Russian troops are pulling up reserves for further assaults and clearly not for a 30-day “standing idle in forest belts and forest plantations.”
The ultimatum launched by the EU countries to Russia expired: it is expected that the promised “very powerful sanctions” against Russia from Britain, Germany, France and other EU countries will be activated.
The fuss is about if “Putin” will dare to show in Istanbul of May 15, or if Russia will arrange a delegation of “empty heads” or the already notorious cheaters who already took part (try to impose the Russian will) on “negotiations”.
It is source of doubts if Trump would be present in Istanbul and what his stance will be.
The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that “The West is seeking a 30- day ceasefire to give Kyiv a respite to restore its military potential and continue the confrontation with the Russian Federation”.

Flight MH17:

the Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp reported that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has officially found Russia guilty of the downing of flight MH17 over Donbas in 2014.
On July 17, 2014, a Boeing MH17 was shot down in the skies over Ukraine by “separatists” assisted by Russian anti-aircraft equipments and crew.
The hit caused the death of 298 people, mainly of Dutch and Malaysian nationality.
In that case the Russian Federation violated the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation, namely its provision prohibiting the use of weapons against civil aircraft during flight.
This ruling is a clear signal to the International Community that that to violate international law always bear consequences.

Steve Witkoff, a Special Envoy to the Middle East and a US negotiator on various international issues

▪ "I think we’ve done a lot to narrow the issues," Witkoff said. "The major sticking points are down to the five regions. Russia has control — overwhelming control — of two of those regions. The Ukrainians have some degree of control over three other regions, so it’s about how we’re going to assess — there’s a difference between where the battle line are, where the troops are, and the administrative lines. So we’re in a conversation with both sides informally. We want to be direct and at the bargaining table directly, but we’re in a conversation about what you would accept, Russia, in some of these areas. Would you retreat back behind certain administrative lines? The same thing with the Ukrainians. The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is a big part of this discussion because it’s a little bit of a crown jewel and it’s been closed, but we need to reopen that because it delivers a lot of electricity into some of the cities in Kyiv. These are sort of the issues. How Ukraine is going to access the water and get their goods to the marketplace? But I think part of the problem has been we haven’t been able to get both parties to sit at the table together."

▪ "There is no deal without President Putin’s sign off. He is the leader of the Russian Federation, so the notion of not talking to President Putin is somehow something people are against, I don’t understand that logic. We need to talk to everybody. Any stakeholders in this conflict, we have to have a conversation with them — and we can’t accept another person’s version of what they think. We have to hear it for ourselves. That’s how you get to a solution."

The decision of the ICAO Council comes in the interests of the relatives of the victims of flight MH17 and their families: it cannot relieve them of grief and suffering, but it is an important step towards establishing truth, justice and accountability.
In the near future, ICAO will consider how Russia can compensate for the damage caused.
The Dutch Judiciary already ruled against Russia and its emissaries in this case, but Russia is not delivering the culprits to Nederland.

The United Nations' aviation council ruled that Russia was responsible for downing of the Malaysian Airlines flight over Ukraine, which killed all of the nearly 300 people on board in 2014.

The majority of passengers and crew, 196 people, were from the Netherlands. There were also 38 people from Australia, 10 British citizens, as well as Belgian and Malaysian nationals on board.

"The Russian Federation failed to uphold its obligations under international air law in the 2014 downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17," The Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

It is noted that the Council is set to consider the issue in the coming weeks – what form of compensation is appropriate.

Russia is redeploying air defense systems to the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, weakening its air defense positions in other directions, spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk said.

"Crimea is of symbolic and logistical importance to Russia. Air defense density on the peninsula is higher than in many parts of Russia. Due to sanctions and a shortage of microelectronics, the Russians have limited capacity to replenish air defense losses," Pletenchuk said.

According to him, since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainian forces have destroyed a significant number of Russian air defense systems, the Black Sea Fleet headquarters and other facilities. Despite the losses, Russia continues to launch drones from the territory of Crimea. The key sites remain Cape Chauda, Pivkivka and the Kerch area.

Since 2022, the peninsula has been attacked almost daily by drones and missiles, and in most cases, the Russian Ministry of Defense or the Russian authorities do not confirm hits on military targets, even if this information is verified.

Putin will stop only where he is stopped. He understands nothing but force.

The only thing that can force Putin to negotiate is when he runs out of his cannon fodder - when the number of destroyed Russians becomes much higher than the number of those he is able to send into the war.

The 10 year Special Military Operation to demilitarize the Ukraine.

Trump is looking to fill 375,000 deadend, minimum wage jobs just so more American workers can continue working their lives away with nothing to show for it while being incessantly mocked by Trump's privileged base, which notoriously claims that these "aren't meant to be real jobs."

Major Robert "Madyar" Brovdi received the title Hero of Ukraine. He dedicated it to his 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade "Madyar's Birds" – and especially to the Brigade's fallen Defenders.

"Madyar" also revealed the number of casualties in the Brigade for nine months – 20 people.

Meanwhile, the number of verified Russian soldiers destroyed by the Madyar's Birds Brigade has reached 10,000.

Thus, for every one of their Warriors, the Brigade took revenge by destroying 500 Russian soldiers – an entire enemy battalion.

The ratio of losses of 1 to 500 used to be typical only for aviation or artillery.

Now, drone operators – operators of small strike vehicles – are joining them.

This is the philosophy behind the new Ukrainian units – to cause maximum damage to the Russians while minimizing the risk to their own Warriors.

It has been repeatedly emphasized that Ukraine cannot respond to Russia symmetrically – mathematics is not on our side.

However, the new Ukrainian brigades break the logic of asymmetric confrontation by introducing qualitatively different approaches to warfare.

In the Amur region, a fire has come close to the city of Tsiolkovsky, where the Vostochny Cosmodrome is located.

The elements covered hundreds of thousands of hectares of territory in Transbaikalia and Buryatia

"Work on the 17th package of sanctions is still ongoing, but tougher measures against Russia are also being developed, concerning the energy and financial sectors," said French Foreign Minister Barrot.

‼ Barrot believes that a ceasefire is necessary for serious peace talks. He also added that European sanctions are being coordinated with a bill that US senators are currently preparing to impose 500% duties on Russian oil imports to third countries.

The reason is war, classified geodata, destroyed infrastructure. Even in the oil and gas sector, investors are in no hurry to invest without clarity on a ceasefire and guarantees for the first major investment.

How Trump could “tighten the screws” on Russian arms production, — The Telegraph.

A case in point is tantalum, a rare metal essential for the production of high-tech weapons, which comes to Russia from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Brazil and China. Sanctions have restricted these supplies. And while Russia has its own tantalum deposits, they are much smaller.

The shortage of tantalum is one of the factors reducing Russian arms production. The Russians have tried to buy more processed tantalum from China, but the quality has been poor.

“Russian industry needs 1,700 pounds of high-quality processed tantalum every month. To fulfill existing contracts for new weapons in the coming months, Russian factories need more than 4.5 tons, but current stocks are just over two tons. According to Frontelligence, there are no immediate solutions for the purchase of the remaining two tons.”

To fill the gap, Russian industry could buy more “dual-use” tantalum components. Shutting down this last source of tantalum should be a priority for Russia’s enemies and Ukraine’s friends.

Actually that would explain why russia is failing so miserably in Ukraine.

If Russia was failing... why does Ukraine not have its 1991 borders back by now? Just like Finland, they're never getting their territory back.

Goyim so marinated in NAFO propaganda they basically don't remember that Ukraine has already lost territory they haven't gained back. You'd think they were marching on Moscow by now if you follow Reddit or /uhg/

Pig if true

They liberated Donbass and Crimea, and have prevented Ukraine from joining NATO.

That doesnt mean russia is not failing. They have not met their objectives and remain unable to do so. Also I remember they had almost 30% of Ukrainian territory, but what happened, why is it barely 20% now?

Russia captured 15% of Ukraine back in 2015. So according to pidor own math, Russia captured only very small percent of Ukraine since invasion back in 2022

AMERICANS GET IN HERE

SUPER IMPORTANT DAY. CALL CALL CALL

Pidors lost when Finland joined OTAN as the goal was to stop OTAN expansion.

Let's be honest, both Finland and Russia lost because Russia didn't want Finland to join NATO, and Finland loses because they're now part of NATO.

Finland already lost to Russia before.
Nobody cares.

Ukraine gets lots of money from the West though, while Russia keeps having economic problems. Russia is literally running out of cheap oil, they will have to pay more to extract it.

Only reason Finland and Sweden didn’t join NATO in the first place was because they wanted to try to maintain some good relations with russia. But since russia has proven itself to be an unreliable dictatorship, both countries decided to burn bridges instead

CEO of Russian energy giant Gazprom Neft sounds the alarm - Russia's cheap oil reserves nearly depleted.

kyivinsider.com/gazprom-ceo-sounds-alarm-russian-energy-crisis/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

The news is about Russia’s cheap oil reserves nearing depletion. Gazprom Neft’s CEO stated that by 2030, over 50% of new oil production will come from hard-to-recover reserves, which are costlier and technologically challenging. This could raise production costs, impact Russia’s economy, and affect global oil prices. It may also influence Russia’s ability to fund activities, including the Ukraine conflict. Russia is exploring new technologies and fiscal adjustments to address these challenges.

Did you know this used to be the flag of Russia?

Russia's cheap oil reserves nearly depleted

how the fuck does a gas station start running out of gasoline?

maybe because you kept hitting their processing facilities lmao

The prices will go up as supply dwindles, but you can always count on the US and the Saudis to start producing more, bringing down the price per bbl. The O&G industry is always up and down.

yes but you hit their midstream and nobody is going to buy untreated crude. plus with lack of storage the production is sabotaged too, you can't just pump that shit into a refinery
