It looks like shit
What is stealth tank?
Can i steal it with a usb stick?
Looks like a tank in some Atari game from the 1980s.
No chicken wire cage around it = blown up in 5 milliseconds on a modern battlefield.
Why does it look like the Khanjali from GTA Online?
There's a CIWS to catch drones
cybertank :D
99999999$ tank
gets 1 shot by a 50$ alibaba drone
Lel
what a polygon looking shitdump
stealth tank
stealth
tank
What's next, bombers that don't fly and APCs that don't carry personnel? Trucks that don't actually haul anything?
why shall tanks have guns in 2025. couldn't missiles do all the job ?
KUURRRWWA
to catch drones
Cages are for the liquid metal lance produced by a shaped charge.
Cages space out the detonation point, as the range of a molten metal protrusion that results from a shaped charge is quite short ranged.
Don't need drones when your shit can get pushed in by an explosive with a cone in it.
Did they run out of edges in their 3D design software?
Tha fuck is this shit?
gets tankjacked with a usb cable
flag
It doesn't matter where I ask, I cant get a straight answer.
Aren't tanks obsolete these days? Like how aircraft carriers made battleships obsolete. Or like how machine guns made infantry line tactics obsolete?
They seem to be taken out by ATGW, drones, and missiles so easily, at a ridiculous price ratio. They look like death traps.
But I am just being sucked in by all the drone footage from the Ukraine war?
Cant make my mind up whether tanks are still being used by the same sort of idiots in WW1 who sent fully kitted infantry staggering in waves
through barbed wire and muddy ground against machine gun nests and pillboxes, or if all the drone hype is just propaganda and that modern tanks are still a valuable battlefield asset.
its full of chinks so it will be like its not even there (check in the ditch)
We have tank at home
You guys know that Poland and Worst Korea have been jointly working on MBTs for many years, right? The K3 is going to be a motherfucker.
unironically yes to all of those.
Tanks are yesterday's outdated news brony.
They'll all end up getting drone spotted and smart munitioned from several hundred miles away in the not too distant future. Along with all the fuel tankers and trucks trundling along behind them that they need to constantly refuel and rearm.
stealth tank
its a fucking tank you cant hide those things
Just use your brain for one second. You are tasked with attacking a defensive location in the middle of a field in Ukraine. How do you do it? With drones, drones can destroy things, they can't take land. They don't have that ability. You need people on the ground to take it. Armour is much more effective than no armour. The alternative is an unarmoured foot assault, which is going to end much worse.
You simply can't do maneuver warfare without tanks. It doesn't matter how short their field time is or how much of a deathtrap. They are the hammer that pounds against the anvil of other combined arms elements.
t. Anon Babble armchair general
Have you ever seen a tank
But I am just being sucked in by all the drone footage from the Ukraine war?
Yes, think about it. You come off as stupid
The purpose of modern warfare is the destruction of excess capital.
That's the lesson of 1984. That's why the eternal proxy wars never erupt. It's meant to keep the lower classes poor and killing one another. Population control.
From that perspective expensive missiles blowing up expensive tanks for no real gains makes perfect sense.
jets
carriers
tanks
all defeated by a foot soldier with ali express drones
kek

You really don't.
The drones they're using currently are toys by comparison with what's possible. And they're already fucking people left right and centre with them.
Wait til the self flown swarms armed with several shot instant overdose dart guns arrive along with their fly into any fuel truck breadrin.
I'm not ready for the teleportation cold war man. Ugh
Aren't tanks obsolete these days?
Yes.
it even has headlights..
are they trying to make it road safe?
LMAO.
Yes Im an American two of my neighbors have one
on a serious note that tank does not even have active defense systems. It is way behind anything older than 1960s
kek it probably has turn signals stealth ruined
stealth
Wanna bet it's easily detected, massively expensive to produce and maintain and has to make a bunch of capability sacrifices to have that "stealth" shit? I've seen enough NEW PARADIGM RADAR DEFEATING boondoggles out of the States.
Well that one isn't stealth.
If you didn't see it it means it's stealth
it has a 120mm subsonic cannon just ask Anon Babble
that's why it's stealth. they'll sell it to pakistan and no one will see it as it rolls through india
A tank with features to minimize RCS against airborne ground radars and heat signature minimization? Or maybe it just turns invisible who knows?
no it means its in a different zipcode. croatia is only 20,000 sq miles so I get where youre coming from you guys see everything. but here the robertsons from duck commander's yard is 20,000 sq miles. america 4 million square miles so we cant just look out our windows and see everything.
I don't like the way hydai drives. So I wouldn't be buying their tanks
everyone who just parrots "tanks are outdated" are retards
stealth tank
Surely that will save it from a drone.
They should stuck with nuclear artillery, maybe vary the yield.
Unironically future is cheap drones. Mbt will be have same fate as battleships
I've seen this image a million times, but I thought that was Spurdo in the thumbnail. :DDDDDD
Tank fags on the internet are like weaboos. Yes, tanks are obsolete right now unless we can start producing mini EMPs around them.
NATO has tried tank assaults on Russian positions constantly only to get BTFO by artillery and drones. Same story for Russia.
They still use tanks because it's still an armored battering ram and they don't have anything to replace it right now.
Yeah but we have mountains and forests, America is just a big flat desert so you can see everything
You don't need stealth for that just paint a T72 brown.
Tomahawks are not precise enough to hit stationary tanks in 1 shot, let alone tanks on the move. They have a 50% accuracy rate within a 10 meter radius. You would likely spend more on missiles than the value of their targets if you tried to use them this way. They're meant for hitting big boats and infrastructure targets.
Do you need to be standing on the ground to own it, or does the enemy just have to be unable to stand on the ground? In reality the battle lines are drawn where your drone operators are launching from, and the noman's land got wider and depends on the drone's fibre optic cable length. Surely then the region between the opposing drone operators just becomes a killzone that no armour or personnel can reasonably operate in, and you just have the drone teams targeting each other as intel or little tech advancements allow and crawling the battle line back and forth as they used to with artillery, only now it's longer range, hyper accurate, can fly into entrenched positions and counters everything including itself, except maybe missiles which are really just bigger, faster, more expensive drones that you'd use against infrastructure targets. So there's your warfare meta: fibre optic drone teams spread out and hidden along a battle line replacing infantry and armour, signal jammers and anti-drone drones to "hold" your territory, and missiles to support them if they need to take out something a drone can't, and maybe also state level cyber attacks and nukes as a final options.
Seriously, Tron called and wants to know if you've seen bit?
They're still useful, just more niche. They expire quicker on the battlefield but I don't think any infantryman would decline tank support.
Sure.
But they can carry low yield zero fallout nukes that will absolutely ruin an entire mechanized battalions day.
What, we're still pretending nato isn't fighting Russia in the Ukraine?
That now apparently ends only one way.
*gets destroyed by a Walmart drone*
No stupid ass giant ammo carousel on floor means it already mogs the T-80 and T-90
Tanks are usable as mobile artillery. As such, like other artillery, they are typically kept further away from front lines than in the recent past. Yes, drones can take them out if drones are available in range, and if launching one wont expose the operator. But these are "ifs." You still have to find the targets and get in range safely. These are not trivial tasks and they tend to require a lot of time, money, and lives lost in their own right. Long range drone warfare isn't yet a substitute for bomber jets due to expense, small explosive payloads on long range drones, and jamming capabilities.
I don't write this to say drones have changed nothing. They have had a big impact on modern warfare and their impact in the future may be bigger, but they are not a panacea at the moment.
here's the real next-gen stealth tank you yellow niggers
When the "garden shed" suddenly drives away
Have their menu options improved?
this
they are 40 years late to the game
It means "Tasty. Period".
I've seen that too many times, I know the thumbnail
yeah they added EXPLODING ASSES
Itchy. Tasty.
Looks like a wood louse.
ha
Nope
vertices are costly

You’ve fallen for the propaganda
Drones are a new headache yeah but the deadliest weapons in Ukraine have been cheap $50 Alibaba missiles. Tanks aren’t going anywhere, they’re still crucial on the battlefield to counter mines and snipers. In Pakistan Israel’s main ground force is tank unit
Well, it's not stealth enough if people can easily find and steal it
