PT shielding is actually a pretty outdated practice now and usually causes a higher exposure due to more remnant beam scatter. Technologist shielding is because they're doing that ALL DAY every day and that CAN add up. CTs are donuts not TUNNELS a tunnel is an MRI and they take MUCH longer. MRIs are nonionizing and CTs are ionizing, so running a CT for 13 minutes would be unethical as FUCK and a MASSIVE breach of ALARA.
