The disbelief in Jesus is the point, but if we are to understand that Jesus is God, then he's flat out saying "Yeah, I was there at the time of Abraham, because I'm God"

The Holy Spirit is part of the trinity, which is God in us. If you're asking "Are the disciples God too?" then no, obviously not.

Your fundamental misunderstanding is that you've never felt the Holy Spirit, which is a felt presence to children of the faith. You can read the words of scripture, but if you don't believe in heart and soul, then the nature of the Holy Spirit will elude you.
