I'll have a pot of food made. I have sealable glass containers I use for leftovers and meal prep.
I could just take one to work to have for lunch but the idea of preparing in such a way for a place I don't want to exist in at all makes me feel just bad.
I dunno. I'm already unhappy there so I 'd rather just starve and wait until I get home to be at all comfortable or happy.

I put food that absorbs water there, add boiling water and wait a couple of hours. Get a quality thermos for best effects.

I use barley, rice, pasta and buckwheat mostly. For rice the external temperature does matter. If it's cold, put a sock on the thermos or preheat it before use. And use enough water. I use 100g of rice in the 470ml model and 150g in 710ml. Jasmine rice currently. Some types of rice are harder to cook like that.

Issue is that there are no companies that make thermal recipients with glass, or they're insanely expensive and end up quickly breaking.
