Speaking of Youtube, I suspect that views and subscriptions are mostly fake and probably worthless. Youtube just decides what it wants on its platform, and if it likes it, it will "reward" you with likes and subscriptions, in order to conditions people into making "good videos".

I see channels with hundreds of thousands of subs, and yet when the channel streams live it only has about 200 people. I don't know if that indicates that subs are fake, but it does make them seem worthless.

Some videos get millions of likes. Yet the person who made the video is still a brokie. Imagine grabbing the attention of millions of people, yet not even making ten cents off each person.

People are bending over backwards to make videos and gain likes, yet nobody gets paid to do it, except the platforms who rake in billions (youtube).

They clearly have some sort of artificial throttle process for accounts limiting visibility, but how and why? imagine all the people who don't know this and have hundreds, if not thousands, of comments on videos that are invisible to everyone. it's like you're talking to yourself at that point.
