because the vast majority of sea level rise happens as a byproduct of age- or epoch- level changes. the tiny little bit of ongoing melt we see is basically inconsequential and can scarcely be measured, its why there's baselines established and played with and then extrapolated heavily so as to try and paint some sort of picture that the data isnt really telling us.

For the sea level to rise significantly, the ice shield of Antarctica has to melt. At least partially. The average temperature there is -10 Celsius on the coasts and -60 Celsius inland. Given that the climate psychos predict a 2 degree warming we can safely conclude that absolutely nothing will ever happen.

Did they measure the sea at low tide on the left and high tide on the right? The coast hasn’t even changed. Areas like Friesland which centuries ago had less water and in recent centuries the coast became flooded is still at the same level it’s been forever. Islands in the Caribbeans that flood in the tides are still dry land during low tides. Coasts that are hit by tsunamis change a little but thats because of the fucking tsunami. Nothing is happening. The weather is a little messed up but it’s messed up on Jupiter and other planets too. Did humans cause that? I blame the sun and also things like arson causing Canadian wild fires. We know they have the ability to disperse clouds and Russia has used this at public events. Jewish space lasers are not out of the question so if things do get bad climate wise I would look to the usual suspects first and foremost since they have a history of bad behavior.
