Can't drink alcohol in public
same here.
Can't buy Alcohol in normal stores
For the most part, any store that sells food also sells alcohol, e.g. grocery stores, gas stations, etc. We also have liquor stores; they sell a wider variety of alcohol. There are a few exceptions, with some local governments prohibiting the sale of alcohol(a dry zone), and that generally means you'll just have to walk or drive 15 minutes to a store that's not in the dry zone.
30-50% tax on salary
not nearly that much, but still too much imo.
Onlyfans banned
available here, although the company that owns pornhub and several other porn aggregate sites decided to ban several US States from viewing their site in protest of the age verification thing.
basically a cashless society
cash is still king here. We even have some grocery stores that only take cash, like WinCo. There's one like 2 blocks from my house. I'm just glad that nobody writes checks anymore.
can lose your drivers license for crimes not related to driving
We've had the opposite problem of laws being too lax on repeat offenders. I'm talking like people with 10+ DUI offenses still having their licenses. Luckily cities are starting to crack down more.
Doctors can rat you out to the DMV if they think that you aren't suitable to own a drivers license.
Can't lose Dvrivers licenses for non-driving offenses, but we've had an identical scare with "Red Flag Laws", where the democrats tried to infringe on gun rights the same way. It was very controversial, and I think only one or two States even tried to set up something like that.
insulting cops is a crime
Not here, although it's generally considered a bad idea to antagonize them. It's also a bad idea to poke a bear with a stick.
