What are we going to do with all the millions of people whose jobs will be replaced by AI in the coming years?
What are we going to do with all the millions of people whose jobs will be replaced by AI in the coming years?
We’re gonna need guaranteed income
retrain them
there are a lot of jobs that AI still cant do
Literally no idea. Funny how the great replacement people justified the genocide of whites by importing billions of niggers because we need more people for the economy to grow. Turns out they didn't take into account improvements in technology. OOPS!
I have 3 kids that I also homeschool and I'm not exactly sure what options they will even have ten to twenty years from now. Scares me a bit. But I have land, so I can support at least three more generations. We may make it.
Cannon fodder for Israel.
does that shit even work, can't fucking write fanfics
The value of labor is going to fall?
Enjoy our early retirement, obviously.
I’m sure (((they))) have some weaponized ebola or something ready to cull the useless eaters from the herd once they are confident the system won’t crater without them.
Next level downsizing…
It's very good, though you have to be aware that sometimes it will confidently give you wrong information or won't be able to do simple things for no reason occasionally). Overall it's improving at such an incredible rate that it's hard to imagine it not being better than we can even imagine in 2-5 years.
It's going to fundamentally change the internet and real life. The apex will be the combination of advanced ai and robotics and that is before 2030.
What with all these people whose jobs got replaced by the invention of engine in last 100 years? What with portraitists replaced by camera? What about bar musicians replaced by music recording? What about hundreds of accountants who got replaced by a single accountant with a computer?
Hello Sam Altman, hire me as a pajeet nigger to fix your lobotomized piece of shit. Also, I want to meet your whore sister
Nothing. Nature will take its course and the useless masses (niggers and browns) will die. If we play our cards right, our great grandchildren will grow up in a world where whites, living in a world unburdened by shitskin hordes, live virtually carefree, and watch as we begin colonizing the solar system.
the competency crisis can't come soon enough
It’s already plateaud
What are we going to do with all the millions of people whose jobs will be replaced by AI in the coming years? write in not formal language
Man, that’s a big question! AI’s coming for a lot of jobs—truck drivers, cashiers, even some white-collar gigs like writing or coding. Millions could be out of work, and it’s gonna be messy. So, what do we do?
First off, retraining’s gotta be a thing. Like, teach people to do stuff AI can’t touch yet—think creative gigs, hands-on trades like plumbing, or jobs heavy on human connection, like therapy or teaching. Governments and companies could set up programs to help folks switch careers, but that’s easier said than done. It’s not like everyone can just pivot to being a yoga instructor or a data scientist overnight.
Then there’s universal basic income (UBI). Sounds wild, but if AI’s making everything cheaper and companies are raking in profits, maybe we can afford to give people a monthly check to cover basics. It’s not a cure-all—some folks might just sit on their couch—but it could give people breathing room to figure out their next move. Experiments are already happening, like in Finland or with Andrew Yang’s campaign a while back.
We could also push for shorter workweeks. If AI’s doing half the work, why are we still slaving away 40 hours? Spread the work around, let people live a little. Plus, new industries always pop up—AI’s gonna create jobs we haven’t even thought of yet, like managing AI systems or crafting virtual worlds.
The tricky part? Not everyone’s gonna adapt fast. Older workers, rural areas, or folks without access to fancy training programs could get screwed. And if the wealth from AI just piles up with a few tech giants, inequality’s gonna get uglier. We’ll need some serious policy moves—taxing AI profits, maybe, or making sure education’s dirt cheap.
It works.
Anxiety and Fearfulness: The user expresses concern about the future job prospects for their three children, stating, “Scares me a bit.” This suggests underlying anxiety about societal changes driven by AI and technology, reflecting a broader fear of instability and loss of control.
Protective and Family-Oriented: The mention of homeschooling three kids and owning land to “support at least three more generations” indicates a strong sense of responsibility and a protective instinct toward their family. This suggests a survivalist mindset, prioritizing self-sufficiency.
Cynical and Distrustful: The user’s first post drips with sarcasm and resentment, referencing the “great replacement” and using derogatory language (“billions of niggers”). This points to a cynical worldview, likely fueled by distrust of societal systems, elites, or perceived external threats.
Technologically Curious but Skeptical: In the second post, they acknowledge AI’s rapid improvement and potential to “fundamentally change” society, showing curiosity and awareness of tech advancements. However, they also note AI’s limitations (“confidently give you wrong information”), indicating skepticism about its reliability.
Prejudiced and Polarized: The use of racial slurs and reference to controversial theories like the “great replacement” suggest a worldview shaped by prejudice and possibly far-right ideologies. This reflects a tendency to scapegoat groups for perceived societal issues.
Did they nerf it? It's fucking useless I swear it wasn't like this last year. I'm basically doing all the fucking work myself trying to spoonfeed it enough information to get anything useful in return, a fucking crum of new information. At least it's good at patting me on the back and calling me a brilliant for it.
I have 3 kids that I also homeschool and I'm not exactly sure what options they will even have ten to twenty years from now. Scares me a bit
Well that's easy(ier).
Focus on your land and agriculture. Suggest your children to learn about these new technologies and push then apply their knowledge on the family's land (think of your farm as a selfmade R&D lab for your children, possibly developing new solutions and eventually developing their own products)
that s subhuman IQ problem
Kill them
Unironically this.
If the majority of the population is going to be jobless while a small handful of CEOs reap all of the profit that used to go towards employees, we will literally need UBI.
UBI and birth limits.
It works. You just have to know how to prompt.
China just built a massive road using only AI. Not a single human worked on it.
still using GPT for anything other than an AIgf
paco, plz
replaced by AI in
lol. Your mistake is thinking efficiency leads to less work. Everyone will have to work much harder once AI is ubiquitous.
They haven't thought that far ahead because they don't care. The elite who push AI will be safe in a bunker reaping the benefits of post-singularity tech while we eat grasshoppers.
Ni Hao
fpbp
UBI is the answer.
Let AI and robots do all the work.
What do you think fentanyl is for? There will be a controlled burn of job loss over the next 30 years, people will become homeless, get addicted, die (or be forgotten).
There's nothing else for you unless you own the compute right now (think xAI's facility, but those are the public ones).
They can do manual labor and work at McDonald's and pick strawberries and cotton.
The illegals go out and a huge section of the job market opens up.
Everything will even out thankfully.
What are we going to do with all the millions of people whose jobs will be replaced by AI in the coming years?
In peak clown world fashion I secretly am expecting AI to not replace a single job; or at least not replace humans as much as it would make a dent anywhere. Totally BTFO'ing the AI evangelists and utopians that are so chummy and giddy just at the thought of "compute" right now.
Imo, a good indicator of how far "AI" has become in potentially replacing basic "human tasks" is how difficult it will be for Tesla to roll out their robotaxi stuff. If AI can't get something humanly simple done as is driving, then it might find niches that are so specific not many humans will be affected employment wise.
retrain them
there are a lot of jobs that AI still cant do
and employers will HAPPILY pay for both AI AND the human doing random shit now
once they are confident the system won’t crater without them
They should be confident already since the plandemic shown that the system keeps on chugging along nicely with a fraction of the human input.
ni hao, pedro
is the yard done?
yes, chatgpt is arguably smarter than any human alive in terms of general knowledge, its very very good at writing essays/assignments, and usually mistakes are only made because you weren't clear in what you wanted.
It can easily replace all email-jobs right now.
yup
They died, over time.
Unironically.
Also back then there was a tiny fraction of total population running around this rock as there is now.
They'll be homeless, and the 15% of people who still have jobs will still hate them.
drinking on the job
classic
they can come to my house and i’ll have sex with them
All this talk of job replacement and I have not seen one SINGLE burger machine anywhere.
They built autonomous kamikaze drones before they built burger machines.
Let them die.
What? You idiots think the kikes or government will just give you free money, food and shelter for nothing in return?
lol stop it
This
OR MEAL REPLACEMENT SHAKES
ITS MADE OF PEOPLE!
Already learning a different trade.
Why should adults not be responsible for themselves? There's still time, estimated 2 to 5 years. Unless there's a huge overnight rug pull, it's on you. But if your job is digital... you should already be buying tools and learning to do physical world labor.
and the 15% of people who still have jobs will still hate them
And Americans will be on the forefront of that.
In second place, probably the Germans.
Night Custodial at the University has treated me fairly well.
Set Hours
15% in raises since 2023
Union benefits
Sick AND Vacation hours accumulated monthly.
I have 12 Sick amd 9 Vacation days i can use whenever I want. And plus being Graveyard I get to just chill and listen to music/podcasts/audiobooks nightly. And since it's at a university, 6 credits in classes free per semester (Fall/Summer/Winter/Spring).
So Communism?
i'm gettin on the dole asap
What with portraitists replaced by camera?
oh you mean the one 'portraitist' that does portraits for the royal family?
the closest thing we had to UBI without it being UBI were low ranking government jobs like park rangers and clerks
DOGE got rid of those jobs
in reality this is only feasible with population control. because niggers will still have a gorillion kids and somehow expect more than everyone else.
Not a single human worked on it.
Not physically, but there were people monitoring, controlling, and managing the project from data centers
I have 3 kids that I also homeschool and I'm not exactly sure what options they will even have ten to twenty years from now
It might not be a problem in an extreme case. Amish don't have this problem. That's the thing. You can in theory run an old-school parallel economy if AI does it own thing, just for the elite and no one else. But you won't need to. In an extreme case of automation, robots would be cheap, you can get them with very little labor like you can get smartphones or power tools. But the robots will work for you. Build, make food, Healthcare, etc. This is only in the ridiculous extreme, that may not even happen because difficulty increases exponentially. Look at self driving.. it was easy to get it 95% good... it's that 95%--->99% transition that's a bitch to get right, the polishing takes more time than all the other previous things.
A big problem for that is that the current roads and infraestructure isnt made for autonomous vehicles
we'll have to wait for massive innovation in hardware and architect before we get the juiciest advances in ai but we will definitely see crazy shit within 20 years - anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know how capable something like chatgpt already is
Grind them into onions green and feed them to each other. Make the poor eat the poor until there are no poors. A world without poors.
population control of niggers
The only solution is to either sterilize them like Israel was doing to Africans there with vaccines, or just killing them all.
So then have population control. Worth it.
We just kill them
Those are probably way more necessary and entail more work than hordes of redundant managers
everyone else is apparently, judging by how fucking busy everything is on a normal weekday. literally cant tell the difference between a weekday and the weekend.
I got on the dole as a principle. because I dont want to pay for brownoids and single moms to have a free ride. Fuck them.
we'll just wait for a western leader that is comfortable to bring that conversation to the table huh?
Everyone spent the wntire 2010s saying we'd be replaced by automation as in advanced robotics
We're going to have no manual jobs just making art and shit
Chatgpt comes out and is software, robotics technology has not improved in anywhere near the same pace
Now everyone says this will be what actually gets the ball rolling and no creative jobs just manual jobs (for now)
How about I stop listening to you faggots? Get to the robot wives with realistic touch and feel and stfu about this cringe cyberpunk shit.
Only if we do a really good job with vaccines.
This
And even if AI replaces a few things, the problem is not replacement. Replacement isn't new. RATE of replacement is what's dangerous, too much of a rug pull.. AI won't necessarily keep improving exponentially to do a rug pull, we don't know.
But if AI progresses slow enough, it gives time for people to adapt. Find stuff to do. Economy is by and large fake jobs, to a fault. World is lacking real workers because so many people found a niche in streaming from their bedroom. No one's welding metal anymore.
Im an electrician. Will my job get replaced by ai?
Also back then there was a tiny fraction of total population
100 years ago close to 50% of people in Europe worked in agriculture. Nowadays, it's less than 2%. The workplace for half of population got replaced by machines
driving isnt simple for most though you retard. how many fucking car accidents are there? you picked probably the one thing that is the hardest to implement effectively. fucking brainlet.
Just purge the surplus population. Japan should be the model for us all to follow.
eventually yes
not sure if it'll happen in your lifetime but it will happen
Basedlant Green
We build a robot that can scoop up all the poors and then it will break them down into their raw materials for processing. A human body is full of useful materials. It will be like factory farm machinery it will humanely render the human body into itty bitty pieces to be chemically separated. The biomass will be reused more efficiently.
Military service guarantees citizenship!
This will be great for the GDP
your job will be replaced by robots you stupid fuck. a language model cant do manual work.
yea its so hard putting some wires inside some walls. there are companies 3d printing houses. im sure its going to be really hard to feed in some wires with a machine that is 3d printing a house.
You're retarded. Quantum computing is right around the corner. Do you even understand how powerful AI will be when that happens? We're talking a literal sentient lifeform that is 10000000x smarter than the smartest human being that has ever lived. Also, if you have crypto, you should probably sell within the next year or two because it will easily be able to crack/hack the blockchain, essentially making it worthless. Screencap this.
Thats a nice capitalist feudal corporatocracy you got there, would be a shame if it happens something to it
ship them back to india
The second they plug in AI to quantum it'll spread over the power grid like a demon.
unfathomably based, can't wait
Look
Quantum computing is right around the corner
No
If i had kids i would tell them to be a handyman or plumber or general contractor. Whenever i get a quote on anything the cost is insane
How may times have you been shocked?
”AI is coming for your jo-“
name a bigger paper tiger. go ahead, I’ll wait
Nothing, they're just going to let those people go out onto the streets. So now, us in shittier jobs will have to compete with them as well as all of India for food service and healthcare work, which is pretty much all is left. Also, where would they get money for that? From the Israel budget- what are you, a Hamas Nazi???
they'll just have to work for an "ai-adjusted" wage. $10 per hour for a skilled programmer instead of $50.
Population reduction on a massive scale. That does not mean the government will stop or even slow mass immigration. Those millions who work office jobs who believed they were secure because illegals from south america was no education were no threat to their careers are in for a massive shock. The days of making fun of physical labor workers because tens of millions of illegals were imported to take their job is about to hit home for the office workers and beyond
Come up with a new vaccine and more meme wars in the middle east.
your intellectual capacity
Yeah we already gave those to niggers who get to double dip on welfare.
it breaks for no reason all the time and it lies
but it's VERY good, saar!
Kek
the Byzantine Empire will come back and there will be an understanding of policy and reciprocal actions
either they learn to code or they must leave the island in shame
Holy shit
