My ex made over $100k working as a server 4-5 shifts a week, roughly 6 hours per shift. She was the hardest worker, as most of them only worked 3-4 days and made about $75k. This was at a "high end" steak house in a small city with lots of tourists for half the year. By high end, I mean the most expensive steak was less than $80 and I think the most expensive bottle of wine was like $100. I'm pretty sure the bartenders made the same cuz they worked way harder
