Does kratom get you high? I used to take 10mg codeine for migraines from a concussion. It made me feel warm and I slept really well on them. I wouldn't say I felt high per se but I can definitely see how you could start habitually using them to sleep. Does kratom do something similar? 10mg codeine felt mild if anything.

I've detoxed off both methadone and fentanyl, but I never used methadone for any serious length of time, only purchased it on the streets to keep withdrawals at bay at various times.

Cold turkeying a gram a day fentanyl addiction on a family member's couch was one hell of an experience. I was clean for years and tried this stuff one night on a whim like a moron and the next thing you know I'm basically a relapsed addict. Never saw it coming, like an idiot. I'll never take another drug again.

Withdrawals are nasty. Have a few grams of kratom handy. It has trace amounts of 7oh in it, but after quiting with kratom I was able to go full cold turkey after 5 days or so. If you don't you will not sleep for a week. Good luck, I wish you well.

It depends on weight, metabolism, if you already built resistance to similar substances.

In general I don't care much about shitty drugs, they are not worth the time of learning about them.

Thanks, I bought a bag a week ago for this purpose. It's how I quit fent, too. I didn't sleep for 5 days, took some kratom and was able to sleep through the rest of it. I never purchased another bag of kratom since.

Thanks to the anon who suggested vitamin C. I'm scared of megadosing vitamins, though, even water soluble ones. There does indeed to appear to be some evidence of its efficacy, though, so thanks for the suggestion.

I took a part time job as a clerk in a small shop that sells both kratom and 7oh. Kratom is absolutely addictive, but nothing near the level of 7oh. I had plenty of people coming in daily to get their little bottles of feel free or various other kratom products, and many were open about being addicted to it. A simple google search shows that many, many people have become addicted to it. Don't lie to people, bro.

The first time I took l two whole 30mg tablets of 7oh I nodded out on a park bench, then drove my bike around the city in euphoria from 9pm until 7am the next day and then went to work.

if you stick to tiny doses you can avoid physical dependence for the most part
the problem is people chase, but that doesn't work well with kratom and you just end up increasing your tolerance
the other thing is kratom actually does have a crash where you feel bad, I used to mistake it for withdrawals and so would keep dosing and I always got sucked further into addiction that way. Tiny doses and 1 day off a week and you'll be able to go without it when you need to.

7-oh is mg for mg 5-10 times more powerful then codeine. Not nearly as powerful as hydromorphone like the other anon said. I'd say 30mg 7-oh is most similar to pure oxycodone mg to mg. 30mg 7-oh feels like maybe 5mg hydromorphone. It's nice on occasion, don't take it every day.
