The mods on those ones don't ban me. I get reported and then the admins (of the website) fucking ban me. Then they pick through my posts and remove the ones they don't like without any indication that they're removed unless I switch to a private browser.

In 2011 there were plenty of alternatives to reddit. Reddit wasn't even that popular and only came up occasionally in my google searches. Forums were thriving. Most of them you could say whatever you wanted. Youtube of all places was totally free where you could say anything at all without censorship. Now youtube is the worst where every word you say is combed by AI and every other comment is a bot. Reddit is a close 2nd but at least there's genuine human participation.
