If US is in a trade deficit, it means those countries already don't need our goods. They've proven they can easily survive tariffing us worse than we tariff them. The main outcome is we spend more on most things we buy forever.

Keep that in mind. There is 0 mechanism for tariffs to lower prices. Tariffs raise every other price so US products can compete. You will always pay more for less under trump.
