This is why student debt happens

College is not expensive unless you expect every day of your life to be a day at the Ritz with some light reading in between lectures. This is why zoomers graduate with $300k in debt. No loan forgiveness EVER. To the coal mines you go.

Fuck you for making me miss college again OP lol
Every single day at Arizona State was wonderful imagine a campus of easy Latinas and a bunch of blondes that look like out of Landman. Just for no reason at all you will see a girl with a porn star ass in the tightest pants ever. Then you graduate and become an accountant barely able to pay your bills lol shit

She will definitely get a job as a Project Manager or recruiter at a FAANG. She will be a scrum master

She will be a cum master

that is excellent news.

Pay her loans, taxpayer. If not, you hate women

my college experience was studying, and volunteering. it was very difficult and expensive.

College tuition rates have been going up and it's an ultimatum from them. Either you pay more or drop out. They could legally get away with 30% hikes in tuition and only the poor students would complain.

Nigger faggot activity detected, get an expat job that you can do remotely in Thailand. Elevate your education, stop being goyim paypig.

Go shill your debt to more third worlders usurer.

2 hours doing homework

When I went through engineering, we literally slept in the lab sometimes, damn near every waking hour was either homework, studying, or projects. None of it was particularly difficult, but just time consuming as fuck. And I've been through numerous other STEM degrees as well. CS required the least amount of time.

What STEM degree is this? I’m guessing mechanical engineering

It's more likely she'll become an assistant to the CEO and suck his cock.

EE. MEs spent a shitload of time in their lab as well. I always felt bad for them because ME projects were mostly gay as fuck due to the cost of materials. We had it easier because parts were dirt cheap for circuits.

No college is expensive unless fafsa and/or some random college scholarship covers you. Even the cheapest of colleges cost around 100k

Royalty 100 years ago didn’t live as good as an American college student attending a tier 2 university.

And that is unironically a good thing.
We were meant to be gods in this realm and live lives of comfort, excitement, accomplishment, and leisure.

Is not like you buy the materials, right?

College should be comfortable and luxurious. It's just that 50% of the students shouldn't be there.

its really just a matter of working out if your chosen degree course is going to get you in a position to get that shit paid off in a reasonable amount of time. If not, then maybe college isnt for you at all. if you're worried about the money (if you dont have it covered somehow through family, scholarship etc) then you cant even think of treating college like a drawn out summer camp and party time.

Agreed. I honestly tried to make college like camp life and shit like that but everyone in my college were introverts and kept to themselves. Very career focused. Well good thing i didn't payed a dime before dropping out.

How'd you manage more than one degree? Which was the most fun?

We had to buy our own materials unless it was a fixed lab (they still charged lab fees). We all had labs though, all the equipment you can imagine, but projects were selected by students and therefore you had to design and build it yourself. Labs were kino though, fully decked out. MEs had a full metal shop downstairs, you name it they had it for equipment.

thats interesting. ive seen a bunch of it being the other way but it does come down to who you're around and what they're doing. the thing giving college costs a bad name these days are the number of dummies going there for some degree that they dont really have a clue how to use to make money after they get it. all those stories of young women who rack up $100K for a english lit degree and then dont pay it off for years so the interest fucks them up yoogly. its sad but they seem to have no concept of how quickly debt can ruin your life.

consumer debt never fucked anyone up retard they've had notes since the stone tablet
women just get free rides and it's disturbing they spend it on traveling around the world while their future husband is getting fed poisonous food

College is expensive because tuition costs tens of thousands of dollars, you retard. And then people likely pay rent on top of that.
Rather than charge what most people can afford, universities now charges what most people are capable of getting in loans. Uni loans pretty much can't be forgiven unless you die. At millennials were mostly able to get jobs with their degrees but now we don't even have that.

hahaha neeeeerd

ive read stories of terrible states some people have got into with student loans anon. they end up in some shit office job which barely meets rent and food so their student loan payments suffer and they wind up never touching the principle for years, just servicing the interest. must be unpleasant

Stop demanding your dorm have indoor pools, saunas, red light therapy panels, and cold plunges. Tuition will go down.

Should be a bare-bones based and red-pilled college out in the wilderness.
Classrooms held in big lodges.
Cabin dorms.
Western-focused Humanities and Classics required.
Student work crews for maintenance and services.
Archery, marksmanship, sailing, swimming, fencing, hiking.

studying and volunteering

it was expensive

Let's play "spot the problem."
You start. This is baby mode.

sounds like the army

ITT: Bunch of losers that got bad grades telling YOU that you shouldn't be educated.

college is fine for lots of things, but not all things and not all people. thats its seen as default these days is part of the problem

I think I've got 3k left on my student loans, you shouldn't be in a rush to pay it back that loan is just getting cheaper and cheaper from inflation

I think I've got 3k left on my student loans, you shouldn't be in a rush to pay it back that loan is just getting cheaper and cheaper from inflation

I make more interest on my savings account than I'd save if I paid off my mortgage.

Anyone with any sense of intelligence can see schooling is bullshit.
Grade school is glorified office work where you perform work FOR FREE, and on top of that they make you do more work after you clock out of the daily grind(homework).
Then you have college. Oh boy. So you PAY to work for the university, and your work is used by the university to get grants and other cash bonuses. So essentially you are paying to make the university money off of your time and energy, FOR YEARS. The word "intern" basically means "slave".
You do not get any of this time and energy back BTW, once it's gone, it's gone for good.

So you spend the BEST YEARS OF YOUR LIFE from age 5-28 or so working for free/paying to work, and you get a piece of paper that says you're an expert, and you're still a retard when you finally get out of the system. And they call you "educated". Edge-Jewed-caded. You paid tens of thousands of dollars to work for someone worth billions of dollars.

You will never get them years back boys.

pepe pookie.png - 555x454, 195.35K

community college is like 1500/semester
my university was 6k/year in 2012
Georgetown university is one house per year

Is a masters degree worth it bros? I graduated the beginning of the year and am not getting any bites with employment. Figured might take the time and just get a masters

My programs were mostly exam based. Also in engineering. I completed my bs, Ms, and PhD at three different universities. You should have been better at using your time.

might be better to get a whole new associates in a trade or something if you're struggling get a job with a bachelor's

College is a scam, you have hundreds of people in your classroom competing for 1 job opening when you graduate and there's t billions of classes around the country, you pay thousands and even pay for text books for what is essentially just a large room woth chairs and an over priced faggot teacher

Thinking i'm gonna watch that

Lol

High school drop outs mad lol
Have fun being the ones who actually go to the mines because you vote against your own class interests

No, get educated. You get better at what you do regardless when you're educated. You shouldn't expect education for menial work, which is what our country does at the moment. It's because we have lots of people scamming their credentials and employers are making ridiculous requirements to discourage applicants. Once you're in a high trust environment, you'll see that your people naturally want to be educated. Right now, as I said, too many people scamming so schools like other institutions (churches, government, military, etc.) are not trusted.

college was a great experience

you were class of 1990 weren't u

How difficult is mechanical engineering? Any tips for an upcoming student?

Pretty much. Funny how some of my millennial friends who rode out all the recessions, pandemics, and wars in college all ended up with brand new cars and doing lots of partying and traveling yet they are jobless and struggling with debt and constantly cry about having it all forgiven.

I was working my ass off while these fuckers partied away their 20's. Suck my dick and pay what you owe.

unless you expect every day of your life to be a day at the Ritz with some light reading in between lectures.

Kind of true desu. My college experience, particularly dorm life, was basically ultra-luxury summer camp.
Seemed normal to me because I was 18 and just doing what everyone told me to do.
But most dorms were stately af. Old victorian mansions. My dorm was in a basement, but we didn't mind because farther from the RAs.
Free (good) food, three meals a day, in a very nice cafeteria with an epic view over a giant lake backdropped by mountains.
Private security all over.
Classrooms and facilities that were luxurious af.
Like I said, at 18 I didn't know any better, but I basically spent four years living like I were some kind of elite class of person.

Having not worked at a massive American organization, I still don't understand wtf scrum is.
Biggest organizations I've worked at still felt like a small operation because you just worked within your department.

Just ask for their OF.

scrum

It's just a format for daily meetings between teams, like software developers.

College is only a scam if you don't go to a prestigious university like MIT, Harvard. There is 0 reason to pay more than 4k a semester. Literally nothiing you get will be better than what you can get in a library.

Pre-med for me. Studied until midnight every day for weeks on end.

Scum is essentially making really short meetings and talking to people. Sure you'll learn a lot about businesses and goals, but most organizations don't implement full scrum, agile, devops, waterfall, spiral etc

Double Major, twice.

I have 4 degrees, my broad knowledge makes PhDs look like faggots when it comes to systems engineering. I can literally design and build entire systems by myself. I can't even count how many times some dumbass PhD had an idea that was total fucking shit because they don't understand anything outside their specialty. The most hilarious was a PhD statistician who was tasked with analyzing a particular problem. They didn't know shit about actual data collection. I could go on, but the fact of the matter is specialists like that vast majority of PhDs are no different from from a specialty tool in a tool box. I'm more like the entire tool box.

It's time consuming, but really what defines mechanical is your skill with understanding dynamics. If you're good with dynamics, ME should be pretty easy. I'd recommend going into controls engineering, get some basic EE knowledge + programming under your belt. MEs make the best controls engineers because you have the knowledge of mechanical systems, which is good for everything from power to manufacturing and other plant type work.

so you're saying that you're kind of a complete tool?

this worhless bitch does absolutely nothing of value all day but consumes $10,000 in resources. we need a massive world war.

, and volunteering.

thats your fault nigger

I am a generalist, systems minded. Going the PhD route was never my path because broader knowledge is the key to wisdom. Your perspective of the world changes entirely when you understand more of it. This is why PhDs are quite fucking retarded when it comes to everything outside their little niche. Unfortunately this world loves the specialists more than the generalists, which is why everything is falling apart.

Anyway, I'm a NEET these days. I got tired of dealing with all the political bullshit. People are more focused on themselves than solving problems. Now I'm the proverbial "not my problem" incarnate.

This is the mindset of a totally deracinated person

we need a massive world war.

Thanks for killing all the young men so even more women can consume $10,000 a day at comfy colleges
Maybe they will knit some socks to send to you in the trenches, but I guess that thing is out of fashion so have fun dying for nothing

Don’t mind me, just posting people that did nothing wrong.
(Except get a low score)

Reminder that if you tell her you make $89,000 a year you will sound poor to her

IMG_4753.jpg - 1666x510, 133.98K

oh i do agree anon.its the rare phd who doesn't think he knows fucking everything because he's got highly specialized, and therefore uncommon, knowledge in one area. some of them can be insufferably arrogant while also being completely retarded in other areas. good luck, i hope you find some way to make good use of your trainings.

NTA but I’m an EE. Begin all assignments/projects as soon as you get them. Don’t put them off until the night before they’re due. You have to use your time wisely or else the load will become crushing. The other anon was right - none of the work is particularly difficult, but it’s time consuming. Writing papers, lab reports, etc. I once heard that because of program accreditation, the curriculum is designed to be that (time consuming). Use your time wisely.

shut up nerd

meanwhile me in college:

how the fuck do pointers work

why is referencing memory so confusing

I don't understand bitwise manipulation

malloc

I always thought the irony was delicious because PhDs think they're top of the food chain, but they don't seem to be able to recognize how much they really don't know. Only so much time in the world, how you allocate it determines the tradeoffs you have to make.

Anyway I appreciate it, but I don't fit into this world much anymore. What the world should be in my vision is the polar opposite of what it is, and that's a problem I can't solve because it's a problem of human nature.

College was awesome. 5 best years of my life. College is free, my parents only had to pay some $200 for some bureaucratic processes like enrollment and purchasing the index. Food in the cafeteria was subsidized, costing around $1 per meal. I didn't get a state dorm, so I had to live in a private dorm for some $200/month. All I had to do was study. I even went out with my colleagues a few times. Late 2010s were the peak of humanity. I feel sorry for young zoomers who've never properly lived through that era. It was also the golden age of Anon Babble. God, memes were good back then... Graduated before I turned 24. I've been a neet ever since.

free college

neet

Almost like giving it away makes it worthless.
What was your major some can laugh at you

lay off the caffeine you little faggot retard

does Anon Babble not know how to make webms anymore?

Who pays for all of this extravagance, I wonder? Surely it's not being funded directly from her own purse?

Her pussy faggot.

that cuck cooking her meal in the background
his reward is watching her fuck niggers

Influencer from the looks of it, and small possibility she has an OF.

Seem like a classic nepo baby

Community college is just for trades or teachers.

Needs audio

College is not expensive unless you expect every day of your life to be a day at the Ritz with some light reading in between lectures.

It's expensive because universities and lecturers vastly over rate the value of their service and its become an expectation that you have a stamped certificate saying you've bought that service.

That reminds me. When I studied I took on some student loans (against 0% interest) because I expected to make the money back with ease. Although I stopped loaning when I was 10k in debt.
But after I got my degree it took almost 2 years for me to even get a proper job. And I never used my degree in my working life ever.

I went to school before shit got broken in '08 and it was both a wonderful time in my lief, and fairly cheap all things considering. Got a world class STEM degree and got out with under 10k in loans. This wasn't even that long ago. The current shitshow is now how it's all supposed to be bros.

spent an hour taking pictures

spent even more time making the video

spent even more time editing the video

spent even more time on getting ready and putting on makeup

she's studying for a nothing degree. universities don't care, they're taking the federally backed money and spending it on themselves and the fake professors of sociology or whatever studies. she'll either be in debt or most likely her father will pay for all of it. remember that giving young women money enables them to sleep around, if they didn't have money they'd have to get married, but if their father pays they can go party every weekend and hookup with a different guy.

it's credentialism for stem majors, that's it. calculus hasn't changed in 300 years, everyone is learning the same thing.

She's cute though. Would.

sour grapes, the post

>Royalty 100 years ago didn’t live as good as an American college student attending a tier 2 university.

You're a fucking lying retarded imbecile

tier 2 university

No one gives a fuck about your schooling anymore. Just pay back your damn loans.

And what were you expecting to do with that degree?
