I played street Hockey every day as a kid but I do unfortunately have to agree with you about Ice (aka real) Hockey because we were poor as fuck and couldn't afford all the equipment and fees to play in the various leagues growing up. there are more programs nowadays to help poor kids get into the sport but it only goes so far.
