Here's some things that have occurred to me at various times, presented as standalone points:

1. Battery-powered FPV quadcopters are pretty slow and have limited payload-range capability. I think they'll be replaced by fixed-wing, jet-powered mini-missiles which won't be any more expensive. Jet engines aren't actually all that complicated, and could be mass-produced at low cost; small ones, for use by RC hobbyists, are available now for several thousand dollars, but there's a lot of room to reduce the price/cost.
2. HEAT warheads are pretty old technology, and the necessary theory to design them is pretty well-understood; esp. if there's more payload weight available, it's pretty cheap/simple to design really scary HEAT warheads, possibly incorporating tandem charges; the first charge in the series might be an EFP.
3. A somewhat faster and heavier missile might be able to ignore relatively light netting/slats/rubber sheets/etc.

For these reasons, I don't think the sort of cage armor with which we've become so familiar during the present war is a permanent solution.
