The only game with fancy graphics I still play is TF2 because I bought it in 2008 and put so many hours into it it just a habit and sunk cost fallacy at this point.

I think there's a difference between a good programmer and good software developer. It can be contrasted by two guys I know from college, one doesn't understand things such as monads, how the cache works, or what a union type is while the other reads computer engineering books in his free time and makes low level libraries for fun.
One just knows Node, TypeScript, React, Go, and HTML while the other knows RISC-V, x86 assembly, c++, cuda, and a whole list of languages. I'll let you guess which one has a job and which one doesn't, but I don't think it's hard to point out who's the objectively the better programmer when one doesn't know why it's slower to traverse through an array that's bigger than the size of the L1 and L2 cache.

It was 13 hours in my area so it was pretty rough. In any case all the neighbours just got together for lunch and as is typical of Iberians that lunch lasted until 23:00. My next advice for OP is fishing. It’s nice to just look at the water, hear the birds chirp and see nature and get some good sunlight. Catching the fish itself is always a good adrenaline rush especially a big one. I guess I’ve been fishing since I was 4 years old and even almost 25 years later I still enjoy it a lot.

MMA/grappling. I would suggest sambo, as it is the most balanced martial art in my opinion, but I don't think there are many sambo clubs in America, so maybe join a BJJ club. Make it 3x gym, 2x MMA/BJJ, 1x swimming pool a week and leave Sunday off for outdoor activities, whatever you like, soccer, baseball, anything.
Pick up some other hobbies where manual labor is important. Carpentry, welding, etc. Don't spend your time on meaningless passive activities like music, movies, books, it's just a waste of time and energy. You need action, you need to BE in the process of making something, not mindlessly consuming what others have already made for you. You're a man. To be a man is to create things with your own hands and your own brain.

When I got back into RC a few years ago I bought a cheap Nitro, it was fun but it's a lot of fucking around, thanks to LiPo batteries, brushless motors and much higher rated ESC's you can just get one from the store that produces 4x the power and all you have to do is plug a battery in. I'd avoid all the cheap chinese shit, been there done that, they're only good for using the chassis' for speedrunning cars.

For every mediocre dev like Notch or Toby or Eric who has their game blow up, there are a million indie devs with varying degrees of competency (from terrible to excellent) whose games are washed away in a sea of trash and forgotten about almost instantly. Indie games are oversaturated as fuck and most never break even. The limitations of being a single developer seem to necessarily pigeonhole you into the genres (and graphical styles) that are oversaturated the most. It seems like the single best skill you can have as an indie dev is being able to aggressively shill your garbage and hope a Youtuber picks it up. Outside of that, it seems like the most successful indie games are the ones that are hyper-compelling and reasonably novel (e.g. Balatro, StS, whatever), or the ones where the devs dedicate years and years and years to their passion project to create something genuinely unique and/or excellent (Kenshi, Factorio, etc.).
