But really, there is no escape. But it has increased the amount of isolation here (Canada has a low population, with a lot of diversity now). Not many people I can actually do any activities, with most friends / family who can being scatted across the globe.

I also cannot forgive this country for what it did to me during COVID (did not comply). It really changes how you think when you realize they were willing to try to push you to poverty / starve you for non-compliance. I sailed through it without issue, but the intention was noted.

I lost friends and family because they thought I was insane and would laugh at me behind my back. And sometimes tell me they did so, just to try and shame me into getting the vax.
