Each week i have minimum 3 days off, its an A week B week schedule so A week is 4 days, B week is 3 days. 12hr shifts too so 4hrs of overtime pay each day. I’ve worked factory jobs, I don’t think I could do them until I drop dead. I would probably be too slow by my 70’s. My dad worked in a factory until he retired and he told me he couldn’t keep up once he hit 65. He has 3 kids and I’m the only one who helps him out. A lot of white American families don’t help their elderly they just put them in a home. I don’t think there’s a good solution to this except instilling family values of taking care of your elders when they’re too old to work.
