dream home

actual nightmare

Ugliness has never cost so much.

Why can't you retards just dig basements lmao

For that money, can build multiple apartments in Turkey or somewhere else in Eastern Europe and rent them out for passive income

MDF-walls?

Based capitalist. This guy wasted all that money for little ROI. He could have built a small apartment building and rented it out for easy income.

imagine not building a custom re-enforced concrete bunker mansion for that type of dough

nothing but europoor replies

enjoy living in your rat holes

That's some pretty insane costs, and for something that's almost entirely timber as well.
Why? Shit is hilariously overpriced here but you can still build a home with brick and mortar for less than 1.47 million dollars.

I need advice. Does anyone know how much it'll cost to build a 2 story and at least 5,000 sq ft house with reinforced and bulletproof walls, bullet proof windows, and reinforced steel doors that have a cooling system to stop battering rams?

He might already have a lot of money.
Look at guys like Soros, after a certain amount, it's not about the money anymore.

How will cooling stop battering rams?

2 acres for 185k

I spent 299k for 2.3 acres but it already had a house. My kids have a nature center for a backyard. So pretty much the same concept. It shouldn't cost 1 million to live good and provide a life for your kids.

Nice house but the land looks like desert tho

no landscaping

no symmetry or balance at all

cheap looking materials randomly thrown together

probably put up in two months by a bunch of border jumping Niggeraguans.

giant tacky garage doors like you live in a fucking walmart

That will be 1.5 million dollars plus tip

Why are modern houses so fucking ugly? There's no refinement or elegance in any of these tacky boomer shitpiles.

I wonder how much it would cost to make a fired mud brick factory on the US and just make HUEHUE approved houses.
Honestly it would probably get bogged on 4-5 totally legal cartels and lobbyists.

MDF is Medium Density Fiberboard.
OSB is Oriented Strand Board.

MDF is like wood pulp compressed into sheets. It's a consistent density and is used for things like speaker boxes.

OSB is pieces of wood that are arranged in random orientations and then glued together to eliminate fracture points found in normal tree growth (we've all seen a board split along the grain).

MDF cracks easily.
OSB is stronger than plywood. Engineered OSB beams can withstand about 30% more stress than solid wood while being about 25% lighter.

The U.S. has more brick structures than your country. I guarantee we built more new brick houses in 2024 than your country did.
They suck for plumbing and electrical and are death traps in earthquakes so are a regional thing.

Battering rams hit the same place and weakens it by conducting a bit of heat. Supposedly El Chapo had a cooling system installed in his steel door and that's why it took the Mexican military a hal hour to break down the door.

Boomers don't have soul, they are consumer, automatons.

Imagine paying this much for a totaly fake house...
It always amaze me how stupid it is to build an house which will not resist the passing of time. My great-grandparents' house dates from 1830 or 1860, I don't remember exactly, and I have an uncle who owns a castle from the 11th century. And none of them cost as much as this literal paper house. I can't comprehend it. Why not build houses to last ?

We used to do that in America. The jews bulldozed them all in the 50s-70s

have americans ever heard of hard-wood?

I think the funniest thing about these constructions is that the outer walls aren't built with stone or cement usually. But they still try to make it look like they are.

does the average american really live in 500+ meter homes, and only have 1.66 children? that's absolutely ridiculous frankly

for me, 100 square meters seems like a great amount for a spouse and a child. all you need is 2 bedrooms and a living room

For reference America used to have a lot of things that would last. In the 1800's every major city experienced a 'fire' which confidently destroyed basically the entire city. What they rebuilt pales in comparison. The rot has been going on for a long time

The matchstick to burn it all down
About 3.50
The satisfaction? Free

All that so that little girl brings a nigger when she is a teenager and for the boy to overdose on fent while the cuck that paid for all that is living alone in a one room apartment. (divorce raped)

Beds way too close to the radiator.

Electrical 86k

Mutts brag about the nominal supremacy, but if you take into account how incredibly costly the simplest things are, they are downgraded to third-world status.

it's fine as long as you dont consider your home as an investment. because only land is valuable.

I can't comprehend it. Why not build houses to last ?

Local boomer planning commissions won't approve plans unless they're stick frame cookie cutter garbage because they're terrified of "liability"

Now 3x that same price but for regular maintenance

Why do Europeans throw a tantrum when something is built with wood?

Genetic memory from all the cities burned to the ground.

Why the fuck do I as an American need a commissions permission to build my own house? Its my business if my house is safe not theirs.

American cope is always the most embarrassing, obnoxiously lacking in self awareness cope you will ever see. It is always insecurity masking as self-righteousness.

American houses are ugly.

they need to look like that because of tornadoes and earthquakes

American neighborhoods are lonely and isolated.

that’s just because of computers. Everyone would be out grilling like these advertisements from the 1950s if only there was less cellphones.

You can’t get anywhere in the United States without taking your car along.

jealous of our freedom and debt eurofag?

American culture is centered around niggers.

no that’s not true it’s only liberals, zoomers, the media, welfare, the military…

Americans are fat.

hurr europoor too poor to afford food

Americans are stupid.

that’s just all the Mexicans and niggers we invited to live and breed with us bringing the iq numbers down

Americans won’t do shit.

wait til they come to the suburbs

They’re in the suburbs.

nice try glowie

America is the only country so obsessed with guns. This obsession leads to unnecessary murders.

guns help us protect ourselves from them when they come to the suburbs. You don’t have no freedoms euro gayan hahahaha

God isn’t real.

you are a gay theist fedora tranny kike Jew

Trump is an oligarch pandering to a underclass of retards in order to get them to do the bidding of his billionaire friends.

It's got a basement you retard

posted from the commie block I share with my mom

Keep seething, achmed. You'll never taste success like this man.

buy muh city is walkable!

That's great if you're too poor to own a car

Protectionism racket for local builder's associations

euroqueer seething incessantly about large home for white family

Kek

I remember that story.
Need more fires it seem.
Really ? How does this works ?

Why are you retards so autistic about it

That house is stunning. Patrician taste fren

Did we get ripped off?

Paint: $86,000

That's affirmative. You got ripped off. My whole house cost less than that.

quality > quantity

I'm going to stop you right now, for your benefit. The vast majority of posters are not only ignorant to construction, but also incapable. The only thing most of these faggots can do with their hands is type out troll posts and ignorance.
As well as the fact that lots of europoors and others honestly believe that OSB = cardboard, and they can "hurr durr punch a hole through the wall!" You don't want to argue with idiots anon, they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

muh cuckshack area is more better

What a ridiculous cope lol

Lot of square footage in a warehouse. Why don’t you go move in? You’ll finally have a place for your massive nigger dildo collection.

Lot of square footage in a warehouse. Why don’t you go move in

If I could buy one and finish the inside for reasonable cost they'd be pretty cool

I'd have a 2000 ft well built home that will last 100 years than an 8000 ft deluxe mcnigger made out of toothpicks and plastic yes.

lol

loves Walmart so much he’d like to live there

just tard coping

Yes a Walmart sized house would be tight

The mutt brain is truly astounding. Why couldn't God make me a Frenchmen or an Italian? I hate sharing a country with you people

ILL STAY IM MY KEK BOX FOREVAAAAAAA

lolk

that's retarded

I have to ask, why would you want that much acreage?

lol you didn’t say house retard. You said warehouse. The fact that you can’t tell the difference says everything.

Why couldn't God make me a Frenchmen or an Italian?

Just cut your dick off and complete your transformation

Really ? How does this works ?

The building codes aren't written down or are written by "incorporation by reference", which means they refer to commercial building codes which aren't publicly published and you have to pay thousands of dollars to even read. Then the boomers bureaucrats will look at your plans and make nonsensical judgements about random aspects of it, because they are not engineers and could not objectively evaluate a design even if you put a gun to their head. Then they force you to make changes and re-apply for permission, in a process taking years.

This mysteriously never happens to well-connected local developers, who get all their plans approved first try

why would you want that much acreage?

I don't even know to how respond to this because the fact that your default isn't "as much as possible" indicates you've been buck broken so hard that you're not even a person anymore

kek

spics will actually believe shit like this

You make it a house by "finishing" the inside. This I'd a common term. Stop being stupid

southwestoids/west coasters are all subhumans with no souls

1669803_6_1.jpg - 1280x853, 544K

What kind of nigger logic is that? Do you only function in society because there are legal consequences? You sound like the black faggots who would rather kill white farmers and starve just to spite them in the afterlife

For an 8,000 square foot house I believe it. My parents paid $20K for a 2,000 square foot house. It involves more than just paint, that includes lots of drywall repair and spot repairs on moulding too

No, retard. Warehouses are windowless, roomless buildings, typically constructed out of sheet metal or other cheap materials, with no consideration for human comfort. You previously stated you’d be fine living in one if you could put up some drywall in there. You are a fucking mindless consumer obese NPC nigger subhuman mole person. Do not ever speak to me like we are equals again.

was*
You absolute retard.
It the White Hall. You dont even know your own history.
Also

fake "big" house

real house

Kinda crazy. Boomers never die fast enough.

McMansions are peak habitation.

No one that has ever lived in one will tell you diff.

They also got great floor plans.

Once you lived in one, and you try anything else it will be "WTF is this shit?"

Why does a one family home need 4 garages? At that point just build a detached auto barn, instead of trying to incorporate it into your living space. You have 2 full acres ffs.

True. Imagine asking an illiterate mexican construction worker to build something like this. It would melt their brain.

All that and he forgot to hire an architect.

I think every ideal home should have an atrium in the middle, as a small garden. Like one of those Roman, or Spanish colonial houses, or Japanese, they do garden well too.

Dude totally took out a builder's mortgage.

Why it's everything so expensive. We build earthquake resistant concrete houses for a fraction of that

BUD MUH SOCEDY!

lol shoo cuck boi

Brits, are you okay???

ahhhh.jpg - 640x559, 29.42K

with no consideration for human comfort.

That's what "finishing" is for, retard. Your dedication to retardation is impressive

It the White Hall.

That's not a real thing

No, they are not

I also like the earth ships in Arizona build out of mud, glass bottles, hemp, tires. It's poverty-Arianism, one man work.

i love watching buildings like these
i imagine, if brits werent such cucked subhuman kike worshipping wiggers who let nonwhites exist instead of slaughtering them all, the entire world would have been like this
pretty buildings everywhere, only white people in the world, incredibly high living standards, highly functioning societies, everyone's happy

8200 Sq ft on 2 acres. you can't expect this house to be under a million. this is litereally the definition of a million dollar home.

people also need to wake up, the value of their dollar has depreciated a good bit in five yeaers

every ideal home should have an atrium in the middle

ya got good taste anon, i fucking love that style, although not a garden per se, this was one of my favorite rentals ever...its in grenada

granada.png - 696x638, 767.33K

Looks like those houses eastern European gypsies build

Hey, I actually enjoyed the post.
Thank you, I did not know the difference between MDF and OSB. Is MDF the same as Masonite?

Doesn't know that people with this kind of money prefer to have "bricks" be a texture and not a physical part of the wall just because they have the money for it

fuck niggers.

come on guys keep spamming these threads! lete fucke this nigger board up more!

reddit is here niggers!!

NIGGER!!!!!!!!

i hate it here

i was going to try and buy it as a vacation home until i realized grenada is 82.4% black

Atrium are lovely for privacy, I would put a small Japanese on-sen (jacuzzi), but it would have to be very low-key, like it looks like natural formation of rocks, and there is natural river going through it.

You live in one and reap its benefits every day. Why don't you expatriate yourself to Liberia to be with your people and experience all the freedom you can?

are mutts allergic to bricks or something?

I like old Indian buildings too. I'd rebuild one of your cities to look like those old temples. Imagine an entire neighborhood done up like this.

society simply displaying his cuckery

Lol

We're just not poor and retarded. Weird I know

it wasn't until the end that i realized the house at the beginning was finished. it looked like it just had the moisture barrier before the siding went on. also how is it possible to have paid almost 50% more for paint than electrical or plumbing?

Third world electrics

Zero regulation

done by people with no training and working on experience and vibes

Will use the same cable for everything

You need to break the brick wall to install the cables

Just check for cheapest American island in the Caribbean, Romans were truly ahead of the time.

um akshully

Cope

Best looking house post so far, where's it located?

enjoy living in a place design to rot away

agree wholeheartidly, also if you have a large enough property you can have your entire immediate family live there in their own full size homes like the mexicans do with their haciendas...soo much eaisier for child care when you want to go out or on vacation...heres a nice on in sonora owned by some narcofags

Women dictate the market. And in a womans mind, big house = good house.

Why yes, I WILL live in ze pod

Bricks aren't free dummy.
Adding bricks would have tripled the cost. Probably more.

Idk sorry. Looks like something out of New England. Lots of little Colonials and Greek Revivals like this up there.

had all the land and money to build a house out of concrete. instead this shithead chose to build it out of decomposing plant matter. mindblowing how retarded americans can be because of muh huwhite picket fence american dream home. literally ZERO downsides to building out of concrete if you arent broke. they literally tell kids the story of the big bad wolf and the sheep with the scrappy houses. absolute kekw retard moment

enjoy the lifetime of wildfires, mold, termites, earthquakes

paint $90k

cabinets $90k

Just overthrow the Monarchy bro

erally ZERO downsides to building out of concrete if you arent broke

Americans are more prone to remodeling.

It's ok not using small bricks that shit is actually pretty expensive and very Labor intensive, but does picrelated literally not exist in burgerland??

Same. My family's house is basically as big but without the second floor and the fact that we use cinderblocks. Also we have a big ass 3-4 meters perimeter wall made out of bricks.
Also an outside kitchen for grilling with a big dinning/party area and 2 car garage.
Everything can probably be made for less than 150k today around here.

There's a sucker born every minute

Unironically, Evola remarked that all races are capable of noble behavior, and the Japanese are evidence of this.
The country and pollution might be fixed if Indians adopted Zen Buddhism. The problem is that all of your intelligent people tend to flee.

That looks absolutely abhorrent jfc never post that again

isn't this the fucking druglord mansion from scarface?

Uh oh it’s another American cardboard house thread.
Listen Chang your skyscrapers and apartments building fall over every day killing thousands. People who live in fake cement buildings shouldn’t throw stones.

have a big ass 3-4 meters perimeter wall made out of bricks

Typical amenities when in the 3rd world

Americans are subhuman

romans got aesthetics down to a fucking science for sure. also im sorta banned from the virgin islands, for poaching lobsters (i used a trap instead of hand catching or snaring when i was on a contract for underwater welding)...fucking gay, just like trinidad/tobago...im actually persona non gratad from there tho, for same reason

How much does it cost to maintain such a house per year? Especially after 10 years or so? Also, how is the soundproofing situation in such a house?

Muh bricks

Wood has greater structural integrity in places with seismic activity.

idk i could swear i saw it somewhere

ameriburger can't handle seeing normal construction materials

Lmao

How much does it cost to maintain such a house per year?

What the fuck maintenance do you think is happening on a yearly basis

it still can burn down in a couple of minutes lmao

McMansion build cost breakdown - total cost $1.47M

1.5mil, and they're using mold-spore-infused chinese drywall and not plaster-and-lathe. I can't imagine. Even in the shitty video I can see the twisted-like-pretzel 2x4 framing...

normal construction materials

Normal for Mexico, sure

His castle has no walls

can be besieged and destroyed by a bad wolf with strong lung

Lmao, retard piggy

There is a general uptick in concrete and beton being used in American buildings. But it's usually only for weird prefabricated building units.

tha looks like those super nice homes on lake como in italy

como.png - 816x345, 674.25K

Lmao look at how the little piggy copes and seethe when you show them a strong building material.

I don't know. Insects chewing the wood, mexicans fucking something up that blows up later.

Tree fiddy

bro my moldy wooden basement is totally superior to your third world country thermally efficient, durable and fire resistant thick walls

Don't overdose on copium buddy

concrete is wonderful when you live in a hurricane prone area from what i hear

Friends built virtually the same cookie cutter designed for 600,000 in Illinois of all places. They indeed got hosed on their estimates.

You can't be advocating for zero-sum-isms and taking everything from everyone and also not believe in security.

27681064.png - 500x522, 43.38K

mutt never discovered the concrete technology

hence they make building out of steel and they fall after burning

kek

Burgers throw shitfits about paper straws but build whole houses from repurposed matches…

Lol i didn't realize that the first clip is the finished product. 8200sq ft is massive though, damn. not bad overall.

Insulation: $37K

LOL they are totally clueless on what things cost huh?

It's also a good material for tornado prone areas. Sadly not many construction firms want to use it due to the time involved in concrete constructions.
It's far more profitable to slap together a wood construction in a couple of weeks.

My parents built their house for 300k€ (300 square meters by the way, 3 floors if you include the full-scale basement) so burgers are absolutely getting ripped off.
To be fair that was 10 years ago but still

Euro houses built in the last decade also dont have bricks, just cement, metal and glass

spoken like a true poorfag who never had any money. you know what the risk is of owning rent property in a thrid world nationalistic hellhole as a foreign investor? based on historical trends: 100% chance of being fucked over.

This guy put his money where he can keep eye on it with his own guns and can enjoy it. And hopefully it wont lose much value, but even if it does a bit he got to enjoy it.

For me the location is more important than the house itself. I just want to live in a quiet place where no one could disturb me, preferably a forest, pine forest. Ideally 5-15km from the city I work in but also not in a super dense forest and loo far away from the main road, otherwise getting out after being snowed in would be a hassle. The house could be slightly larger, but I don't care too much, depends if I'll have a family or not then. Just 5-7 years until I can afford something like this...

file.png - 950x890, 1.52M

They got ripped off on paint. You can buy 2000 gallons of premium Sherwin Williams paint for 86,000 dollars. Enough to paint this ugly pos 15x.

This honestly isn't bad looking at all. Not really my style but the proportions are good and they used the right colors. I like it

Insects chewing the wood

This isn't a cartoon. Treated lumber and basic treatments later take care of it

It would definitely be more expensive. It seems like it would be something around 4 mill dkk or 550k euro to get a 280 2 storage house today. At least here.
I imagine that it would be a little less expensive in Germany depending on where you build it.

It's also practically free if you have the right connections.
t. built a house where a truck would show up every so often and dump residual concrete (from other projects) that would otherwise have been trashed

Bongs have no soul. They are the true bugpeople.

this is pretty much american design in a nutshell
you either go full-out with shoulder plates as big as small cars and a constant stream of fireworks and LEDs, or you do nothing at all and just design a white featureless square product. no in between.

who was that guy again who moved into the woods, and a tree smashed through his cardboard house, destroying his entire video game collection?

oh boy i can't wait to babysit nigger renters and rely on them for my prosperity

Looks basic with no privacy.

435667856435.png - 1510x1008, 2.97M

out of curiosity, can I jump from roof to roof like batman and cross a whole town?

wooden basement i

Lol holy fuck you niggers are retarded

Yeah unfortunately laying bricks is too expensive now due to labor cost.
The world needs brick laying robots.

261K for dirt

Maybe i should be building houses

this is a Minecraft player that only cares about utility

omg the big bad wolf is gonna huff and puff and blow that house down

I have built many speaker boxes out of OSB. The acoustic properties are actually pretty unique. I recommend it for the funzies if you're into tinkering. Good cheap fun can be had.

don't you care about all the mosquitoes at night?

They cut all of theirs down.

No jumping needed nigger, all our houses and conjoined.

I hate mcmansions so much. I do HVAC in Florida and the shit I've seen in these garbage ass retarded looking blackrock built low effort plywood mcdonalds playplace ass houses with 15 rooms would give an inspector a fucking heart attack. It's genuinely insane to me some of the places I've worked in where they paid MILLIONS to live there and you go up in the attic and find trusses that aren't connected to anything, exposed fire hazard wire, complete lack of insulation or insulation filled all the way to the ceiling so you can't get in, and the most horrendous ductwork a 17 year old guatemalan has ever attempted to throw together. Then you go into their bathroom to take a piss and the tiles are crooked, the lights in the ceiling are off center, the crown molding looks like shit, etc. It BAFFLES me that people are simultaneously wealthy and retarded enough to buy these houses

how is concrete and asphalt that expensive it should be 1/10 that amount

And then, when the government seizes all foreign assets present in the case of an emergency, as in something like i dunno, regional war erupting in the middle east, you're going to come hat in hand to the tax payer to bail you out won't you?

concrete technology

t. Mexican 500 years ago

Indeed, concrete is pretty much the most mass-produced thing ever.

Fuck everyone but me, but especially you

So ugly and soulless. My town has some of the most beautiful classic Victorian houses, still in good condition because we're a majority White town.

That's because there isn't any. I don't get why people want to live in places like that. I would much rather move back to where I used to live

1352104.jpg - 550x366, 69.33K

after a certain amount, it's not about the money anymore.

lmao, no.
I'm pushing 40 and everything i've made has went into properties, for the past 10 years, i've bought more, which makes buying more even easier.
For the past 5 years, i've put property money into land, built on said land, and put them up for long term lease, the money made now comfortably covers lawyer fees etc, I don't need to go source land or properties now as the firm covers that, they approach me with companies going under or potential opportunities and asks for the go ahead, with more income it becomes a self-sustainable business, and there's always some other way to use the income.

There is ALWAYS a way to expand, and always a way to spend for returns.
if you think having money means you don't want to make money, or offset outgoings completely, or ensure that if shit hits the fan you can comfortably cover it, you're wrong.

cute kot

They're only a problem for 2 months a year mostly and the other 2 months not as much. A net on windows does a good job of keeping them out if I want to keep them open.
Damn... I'd probably cut down nearby trees and they're not too tall here anyway, I wouldn't need to cut down too many of them.

it's site prep, plus foundation, and as that home looks like it was built N of the frost line I'd wager it has a basement which is exponentially more expensive...the dude got ripped off, for sure, he paid double what that piece of shit is worth. im only clarifying that the faggot didnt include site prep or mention the foundation included a basement in his faggy vidya

Just give me a modest 2500 square foot Tudor style house in the suburbs. Nobody needs more than this. Even if I had billions of dollars, I would still choose to live in a house like this over a mansion.

70k for drywall

80k for paint

75k for (((misc)))

i forgot to add one more thing, that home looks like a custom build on some land, not track housing that was built in a subdivision, site prep for rural areas is also exponentially more expensive than in a city/subdivision

Post your dream house anons

IMG_1216.jpg - 1053x1168, 770.39K

cld use more color...id put snap dragons/lupine by the fuck ton in that garden to the point you wouldnt be able to see the mulch

light isn't good for speaker, because their enclosure should neither vibrate, nor transmit vibration to the surrounding (justsaiyan.tiff)
speakers should be installed on concrete supports at least 7 times their weight, anyway (with coupling spikes between the speakers and the supports), so they transmit what would otherwise be enclosure vibrations to something that's hard to vibrate
and the concrete support should themselves be decoupled from the room slab (ideally a separated dampened slab, or just with things like sylomer feet), so to avoid the slab acting like a very ugly speaker membrane

world goes to shit ww3

I'll build random shit out of scrap

I have feral pitbulls outside.

Funny thing is...you'd sooner find me living in something like what you posted if I was rich than if I was just a poor wageslave.

I just trust in the Word of Jesus Christ for that eventual kingdom of His and the house He Said was waiting for me there
This place? Idk bros im functionally homeless because i cant get ahead for anything, im preparing for the eventual living in tents part of the great tribulation, pretty sure thats why sukkot was made a Feast was for the end days

did you frame out everything before hand then have the truck come and pour? only other way id see that workin is if u built up a pile of mud then got your own mixer to re-wet it once it eventually dried out

For 800000$ you can build a fucking 32 two room apartments... WTF is wrong with USA

God i could gouge out the eyes of people making such fugly houses...
That jewish godless architecture is meant to crush human soul and pursuit of beauty and perfection.
Those jewish architect know what they were doing.

i cld def see a concrete home w/basement toughing out a monster tornado...even with roof gone wld still protect

Since when does 20 buckets of paint cost 80k?

truck would show up every so often and dump residual concrete

It won't bond correctly to the previous concrete and the slump would never be right.

lol if i call OSB particle board my dad throws heavy shit at me like ashtrays or coffee cups while calling me a dumb faggot

Looks like some of those reddit income spending compilations where it says moblie+internet:400$.

But then again if some retard in an office answering emails earns 100k a year this makes sense.

if u let it all dry out evenly on a tarp, remix the aggregate, add a shit ton of slaked lime to replace what was used up in the chemical reaction once it was first wetted, then wet it and throw in the mixer it wld homogenize i'd wager

Where I live currently is a pre fabricated steel reinforced construction. It has a bathroom witch is centered in the middle of the apartment with no windows or anything but a door.
I unironically think a bomb could go off on the street below and I'd be fine if I sheltered in there.

that would work for sure, but the people that live in tornado alley are not the kind to think outside of the box like that unfortunately...wld be kino as fuck to have an entire city of hobbithomes, they are fucking awesome, and id kill for that houses electric bill...i bet its cheap as shit to condition

Isn't tornado alley also notoriously flat? It would kind of defeat the purpose if they'd have to make giant earthen constructions.

I just want a stone house in the countryside. I value land space over house size.

I'd tell you, but we don't speak meters.
What's that in English?

never mind, I friggen converted to square feet since I have to wait for this stupid captcha.

No, that is not average. Average houses are closer to 1500-2000 square feet, many smaller, some larger.

This giant house trend is more recent, and though there are many, it's only a few percent of folks who have them -- of course, this also depends on the neigborhood; there do exist neighborhoods of nothing but large houses ... but none of this is by any means, the average.
Average people rent (or own) average properties.

hehe i have a similar bathroom in center of my house on the first and second floors but it's made of cypress and balloon framed (house sits on piles driven into earth). i live on a bay so tornados wld never happen but if it did i'd be dead lol.

I hate them so fucking much bros.

it's flat for the most part, but theres def hills and topographical undulations.

This.
It looks like someone bought a 3 room 1 bedroom house and just kept building onto it. These mcmansions are retarded
It's literally for poor people, it's entire style is copying poor people slowly getting richer over 7 decades without ever moving

We have everything you have.

i like the amphitheater look, and fuck yea they do...underwriters fear sturdy homes.

truss plates nigger it's how they can have a 5000sqft open layout

That includes the labor, dumbass.
You gonna paint it? Or you just want a pallet of Sherwin Williams in the garage?

Also these listed prices are bullshit

80,000 electrical

$50000 insulation

100000 HVAC

No it's fucking not

What’s worse and causing more damage. Landlords or house flippers?

That looks so comfy. It's sad that more builders don't embrace this kind of thing since everyone is so energy obsessed at the moment.
Having a house like that would probably same tons on heating and cooling

actually it's super fucking hilly now...seems tornado alley has shifted east...arkansas is one of the worst fucking places ive ever driven with how many hills and steep graded roads there are

nadoally2.png - 628x350, 375.19K

...and then you have 32 shitty ass two room apartments.
You want to live that way ... enjoy.

House flippers are DEFINITELY worse, anon.
My reasoning on this is that at least with a rental, you can leave when the bullshit "repairs" stop working and/or kill you.
I despise flippers, but AirBNB hosts are also pretty darn terrible.

dude, 4 2-ton units installed plus all ductwork, air handlers, furnaces, gas, and electrical is under 40 grand in expensive places...under 25 if your rural and not a faggot living in colorado or california...

This is a cool midwest house
As far as dugouts go, thanks for the post saved
Minecraft gods rise up

misc: $75000

What’s that, the pedo rape room soundproofing?

Airbnb hosts are bad due to the dumb fees, but I tolerate them because the ones I’ve been to at least put some effort into making the home nice, some even included gift baskets with wine and snacks. But I’m sure there are cheap as shit hosts too.

This looks like the house of the cartel boss from sicario. Little house on the right, he eats dinner with family and lawyer kills them all

midwest??? nigga thats greece, scicily, sardinia, or cyprus. look @ all the white building in background

wood house bad

Retard. Wood houses can last a hundred + years.

misc= permits, inspections, temporary facilities, safety measures, and other project-specific shit you have forgotten/purchased late so you have to add it to a different account, hence the misc...

Well I would have to build something like it here in midwest mesa biome, all ik of Greece is the slopes of altis in Arma 3 :)

def wld be kino as fuck in midwest, not disputing ya there. lol hobbithole next to icbm silos wld be peak doomsday housing

If the can make the fucking things for $2500 a peice the schmuck that hooks it up doesn't need to earn more than the manufacturer
HVAC techs are conaerust scum.

Pro tip: get a system that can run off propane, butane, r134, or canned air duster as the refrigerant and install it yourself

Buy a warehouse and reinforce / fortify it yourself

It's Greece, but plenty of arid places like that in Arizona. Unironically, going under-ground in Arizona makes perfect sense since it's desert. Arizona is made for freaky architecture.

34567463567.png - 2400x870, 2.91M

That's just fucking disgusting

wooden house

paper house

Yeah...
Moreover, white men have sufficient technology and skills to make millenia long standing buildings. So, i dont really care about wood and other third world options.

comfy

The not czech guy has got some taste
Also the dane is right, doomsday bunkers do save on energy in the right climate while the normie cattle need to live in suburban infinite crawl energy electric heating cooling hell
Tho my house would be some tudor thing in upstate NY, cause I am kinda stuck in NY my whole life

So true, so much better of living in a house made by materials that will last. Pic related is my dream home, it will last forever.

a city in australia is like your describing arizona should be, coober peety or some shit

How the fuck does paint cost more than a roof, HVAC, and dry wall?

wtf is going on in america?
I had a few of these units installed and they're just the unit price and like $500 to the tradie putting it in for me

because that house is ridiculously cheap. maybe they didn't include low voltage and stuff like that, but holy shit, our cost to build down here in florida is minimum $500/sqft not including the cost of the property. that would put their build at $4.1 million dollars instead of $1.5mm which is fucking nothing.

atleast its upstate, and yea that czechanon does...he's a based hacienda/hobbithole enjoyer

moneylaundering i'd wager, that or absolute retardation

I will doxx myself
DO NOT LOOK AT HOUSES IN LONG ISLAND
Bruh sat view everything has pools god help us

You can't build that for 1.5 million. They should have built a small quality house.

whats wrong with landlording? its honest work renting out my residental house to families. they usually pay double or more my costs so im able to keep up with maintenance on the property and landscaping so the house looks really nice. i even ended up doing a owner financed mortgage with one of my tenants so in 30 years they'll outright own the house while i get to rake in a modest interest rate. im going to do that again when i find another tenant that i really like.

lmfao 500??? holy shit. i just did a 2,700 square foot rebuild on an old ass commercial property to turn it into an indoor farm (not weed, mushrooms) with residential area and it was just north of 100$/ft 1 block from bay in texas...

In America you can now buy a 3D concrete printed house. So sure the tech exists but 1) you'll still find a reason to cope and 2) wood is the white mans building material. Only niggers actually use concrete or steel to build a home. Wood is peak comfy.

In the south you can. We still build houses like this down here from time to time. It's better to buy old houses and renovate them up to a modern standard though. The construction quality is so much better then what you can get new. There are 1000s of abandoned mansions just like this in every southern state.

Frank Lloyd Wright is the greatest American architect, his houses all blend with the environment, they all feel like an extension of it, white man-wabi-sabi, no wonder he was Unitarian.

So when you take a warehouse and add windows and rooms what does it become?

whats 500 meters in freedom units? i live in a 5,600 square foot plantation home built as a hotel in 1903...audrey hepburn stayed here

lol i know its legit looking but i cant get over that circular drainage area in middle right on base level...the plumbing must be on point

I guess I should specify, corporate land lords are the real problem. I wouldn’t mind if one guy owned a few houses and rented them. But massive corporations owning tons of properties and slapping everyone with a bunch of fees

survives hurricane winds

floods

This is especially true if you can buy it foreclosed.

cabine in da wood

house

Nah.
Again. Concrete is Jewish. Stone is the real shit. A French architect built 15 to 20-story stone buildings to prove we don't need concrete. Concrete is good for a few things, but moderne concrete can't really stand time. We need to go back to stone.

Water only moves 8 blocks at the same height so just do that

Just buy a bunker or silo that's been abandoned.
It will be way cheaper and glowniggers and the antichrist can't get to you unless they have access to mining augers which takes too much time to setup and you'll have the place boobytrapped long before that happens.

How do you get stated? I have about $2k/mo to invest or save.

Goddamn we really do live in wood shacks huh...

house

Yes its a house. The images you posted are not. Stone is expensive and finite, especially if you acquire it ethically.

Fixing up I believe. I don't buy you can make a quality home that large anywhere for that little. A small one, yes.

There's a nich market carved out because only people with an EPA certification can buy refrigerant, so these cunts price gouge everyone all day long and think they are gods that the world depends on so therefore they are entitled to be millionaires
Also the HVAC stores won't sell to you because they're all ran by former HVAC "tradies" and they all seethe at diy and if a store sells to a homeowner, the HVAC business tradies will all boycott it.

For example,

I needed a motor run capacitor for my outside unit.

I'm an electronics engineer, weldor, and more.

The exact ge capacitor is $14

The HVAC stores told me I'd burn my house down, talked shit, refused to even give their unit price, then hung up on me

HVAC crack head wanted $30 to simply resell me the capacitor. Talked like "I'll have be to go down and pick you one up" is doing me a favor. Shows up without change, then offers to bump the price to $40

I eventually found another local supply house that sold me an Indian made capacitor for $3. That's three dot zero zero, not a fucking typo

It's still running just fine 3 years later

You forgot the permits for 2 million

floods? lol not likely...bought my house specifically because it would take 18 foot storm surge for the bay to touch my front door, because you know, seawalls. it would take either an earthquake or meteor strike to flood my shit

finite

No fucking way. Have you been to the USA wilderness? They can open up a several miles long mine and house the entire populace from what could be taken out without even damaging an ecosystem. The fry is dropping a redpill

lol living in texas there is no shortage of wetbacks with r-22 cans from mexico that you can pay pennies on the dollar to fill your home system or vehicles.

Why would cabinets or laminate flooring cost that much?
Everything sounds like it's at least 10x more expensive than it should be.

This is what we did pre covid.
Picked up a bungalow built in the 50's made of brick with copper plumbing all throughout and a detached trailer garage in the backyard.

Mowing the lawn was a bitch until I got a ride mower for a good deal.

You can go to college and learn all the trades yourself cheaper than paying a plumber. Just saying..

ethically??? hahahahahahaha if my building materials don't displace natives, kill endangered species, or cause irreparable harm to the less fortunate I don't want them. fuck your ethics

before this thread archives does anyone have any good books on architecture? Preferably something with older architecture because modern is pretty ugly and with pictures lmao. I've tried finding some in the past most of it was talking about specifications or had simple blueprints which takes away from the enjoyment imo

And it's not made to stand for long, you can have it, it was not about this. But anyways we were speaking about paper houses.

Lol I believe it.
I got my hands on an r12 reclaim machine and I'm about to start hoarding that from trash freezers.

You can run propane in an r22 system, and butane will run in an r12 system
Canned air duster will run in an r134a system and blow colder

Anon the romans used concrete

i keep all my airduster for huffing so I can make chopped and screwed music with out a computer

I started saving when I was 20, I was just in construction at the time, then me and my brothers went 50/50 on a property and fixed it up in our spare time, nothing intense, but we made a profit, next time, I did it alone as he didn't want to put in (got himself married, the idiot).
Did that for a while, a few properties, eventually, I just hired people to do it up and took that out of profits.
If you get a good home report done before you buy, don't trust the sellers home report, do your own, might cost a couple hundred for a quick inspection, but it really can save you making a stupid 40k investment.

europoors will never be able to comprehend spending a million dollars on anything

sad

many such cases

its so tiresome. You're just wrong and clueless.
t. living in wood framed house coming up on 80 years old now

There are tons of basements in the US, but in many areas you can't have them because of high bedrock, high groundwater lines, too humid a climate can cause water buildup, earthquakes...I know it's your preferred place at your mom's house but some people don't need them because they kick their kids out at 18.

it was typo in your history book
they used corncrete

damn thats cozy, its hard to beat antique old wood interiors

Everything sounds like it's at least 10x more expensive than it should be.

he's including labour costs, which, can be 10x as much, if they're fleecing the dude with more money than life experience.

Canned air duster is something like r154a - a bite ring agent.
You can't just buy cylinders of it, for HVAC.. you'd enjoy that better for your high.

Don't kill yourself with it please

so I can make chopped and screwed music with out a computer

stay trill my nigga

PIMP_T.jpg - 420x420, 220.38K

Yeah and we lost the formula and modern reinforced concrete is pretty shit.

imagine defending living in a fake house

Ok boomer.
You're missing the whole point about how and why it bacame a thing in the US

like r152a - a bitering agent.

Fixed
Don't kys you fucking feind

my money is as valuable as Real American Money

you memeflags sure a boisterous bunch

There is an extension that lets you increase baseline picture size on g. search engine, basically you find houses directly connected to architect sites, it's fun.

loads of pathetic cope from euro's showing photos of historical public, aristocratic and royal buildings.
I wouldn't care what poor jumped up faggots seethe about a few fun mixed up styles on comfy af family house
We could only dream of living like this

No we actually rediscovered the formula. It's being integrated into new building projects due to the self healing nature of it as it saves on maintenance and CO2 emissions.
The latter part seems to be the most important one to the feckless retards in government.

how well built are the 2 new ones?
my parents had a danish architect and he would design for passive heating just from people and appliances up to -10c, said that was what he had to do there
end up spending way more on foundation and windows, but save money on heating later

I am a simple man. I just need a house with an internal courtyard

images (7).jpg - 678x452, 48.03K

Anon did you stop to wonder why I screencapped houses in the 6-8 million kr range?

Never buy a passive heating house.
You can't open any windows and plants can't even survive inside for more than a few weeks

they usually pay double or more my costs

Thats what's wrong. In the absence of a landlord, the person living there would be paying less and actually own it.

Why would you build a house with atrium, and then place some dinosaur statue there, be more practical. Atrium is made for onsen.

1.jpg - 2500x1667, 974.87K

He didn't
I was going to post in your defence, but 7.8m kr is still only about $700,000
Idfk which one was wrong, but assumed him

alright I will try it out anon thanks

Anon, I stopped caring the moment you first replied. To me, europoors will always be nothing more than bloodthirsty savages stuffed into suits for the sake as a cruel mockery and parody of civilized peoples.

LOOK MUM I REPOSTED THIS DEBOOONKED VIDEO AGAIN

Kill yourself frenchoid. Nobody likes you.

Why?
Do windows fuck up the geothermal suction?

I put tomatoes in my basement and they died, I think I have rayon or something. Like they were fine in the house but there it was like they were poisoned. Same lights and everything

The newest one has has an almost impossible energy rating and seems to have pretty good interior design. It's also build less than a kilometer away from child care and a school.
The older of the newer ones seems to be a complete ripoff, but it is still reasonably well isolated and has good air flow

Those modern Hobbit Houses are smart and nice

Although I agree, I lived in a basement apartment in my twenties and not getting sunlight honestly made that more depressing than anything I could imagine. Also, when your shithead landlord replaces all the carpets with parquet flooring, your retard neighbors think you're slamming every door when you're coming in or out at night. Meanwhile, you can hear their conversations clearly, and they're zipping around in their apartment on office chairs, and it sounds like you're five feet away from a fucking roller coaster.

I wish renting a small house was affordable.

Modern

People have been doing this shit for thousands of years

Vid related

You can't put a roof or second story on until sheathing is on, it's too much weight and that wood catches a lot more wind force than your think. I don't even frame and I know this, so how actual framers don't know this baffles me.
I guarantee the builder is from South of the border.
Brick houses have their use, wood houses have their use. We get too many tornados, hurricanes, and earth quakes for brick houses to be feasible. The only thing that makes sense in my area is concrete houses, but it'd be cheaper to take the gamble that a tornado won't knock my house over and it's be easier to cheaper if it did.
The reason so many new builds are falling apart is due to shoddy work from illegal builders.

I'm not 100% sure why, you would have to read up on it.
From memory it's all to do with recirculating tye same air, so it hold no humidity and also becomes starved of co2.
As far as I'm concerned that's enough proof for me to know they create a nasty unhealthy environment

Look at all that plaster

Yes and no.
Of course we know what it is since the 60s or 70s. And the "self healing" is about sea water. But the problem is, reinforced concrete with rebars. Romans were using their concrete making the best of its compression characteristic. But since Le Corbusier introduced the Maison "Dom-Ino". Concrete is mostly used by tension, using rebars. Which dont last long, and no amount of "roman concrete" will really help.
A company from Switzerland try to make concrete building using compression a thing again (to get rid off rebars and make concrete last long).

What do you mean? It's required by law that you can properly ventilate your house and air it out.

huh, I just went by this. I guess I should have found some more expensive homes then

he mad we call out the jewish paper house scheme

Why so mad kike ?

My NAS used to hold about 8 TB, but my disk perished, erasing my whole collection. I have an obsessive preoccupation with art, architecture, and photography, I am very sad I lost it all.

423567687954.jpg - 669x1024, 94.44K

In that case I hope the swizz succeed. It would be wonderful to be able to not include rebar anymore.

Aren't most houses in Florida built of concrete precisely because of severe weather events?
Metal shutters and concret roof make house weather proof pretty much everywhere in the world.

enough proof for me to know they create a nasty unhealthy environment

Sounds like it.
Granted you said passive and I went to geothermal, which could have a fan and both can have filters.
Normal ac recirculates the air goo, you're not really supposed to leave the windows open with it

Using concrete in tension just seems like a stupid idea on it's face.

$87000 for paint

That was the worst one.

Remember the Florida building that crumbled? It was build the same way the skyscraper one in Thailand was, Thai one had more issues tho like awful steel.

I'm not sure on the details, you probably can but then it will unbalance the system.
I just know if you have a passively heated house your plants will die after 2 weeks and that's all I need to know

I'm sorry to hear that. Hard drive failure has always been a big fear of mine. I hope you've been able to rebuild some of your collection

Oh yea, both the Norwegian and Swedish krone are weaker than the Danish one.

I think that the builders over in britbongistan are trying to kill you or something.

I wanna visit this place so bad

florida builds more with concrete but it's expensive. In Florida it's more likely the house be destroyed to hurricanes so the cost isn't as big of deal.
In states like California, concrete and brick doesn't flex enough to withstand minor earthquakes.
In the South and Midwest we really don't have any brick quarries so we can't build with brick, and tornadoes in central US are too extreme for brick anyway.
Tornadoes is like rolling a 90 sided die on whether you get hit or not and rolling a 90 means you're fucked. It makes more financial sense to build with wood.

Currency is tricky, you don't want it to be too high, because it's harder to sell your exports since they become more expensive, like if dollar was high, apple overseas would get more expensive.

I didn't know they were all spelled like that lol, otherwise I'd have checked to see if I had the right one

Yeah It's a similar principle
But a normal house with ac will still have some normal natural ventilation throw drafts etc.
Those new passive heated and cooled house are sealed up like fucking tupperware box

What happened to your nas
You can replace the PCB or the read heads
The data is still there unless you had head crash

Totaly, but most modern architecture is based on the Maison "Dom-Ino" from Le Corbusier, because it is very cheap and fast to make. It is about tension helped by rebars. Meaning most today concrete buildings can hardly hope to stand more than a century at the very best (probably less without heavy investments to reinforce the structure a few times during it lifetime).

What a shitshow. How in the FUCK did that make it to actual real life? The single-spine. There HAD to have been a few old White men at that mentioned how it would fail spectacularly.

No explaining to retards.
We have mild tremors here sometimes and there's alway multiple 150 year old Victorian brick built houses with the gable ends collapsed into a pile of rubble

Check properties on Sardegna.
I was drunk and spilled full 2 liter wine on it without knowing, woke up, and it was KILL, disks were done soaked.

concrete and brick doesn't flex enough to withstand minor earthquakes

Most modern countries dont have problems with that. Moderns house can be immune to earthquake, it's often more about being cheap and lacking skills and skill labor. Look at Japan.

2000 years old and it still mogs anything (((Le Corbusier))) ever shit out. Amazing

Yes, but they even Look good with modern big windows, stainless steel and concrete

For me, it's John Deere mid-century modern /brutalist HQ.

Well, we can. But there is less profit incentive.
Also you have to remember survivors bias

Steel and Glass is high German Mies style, they started that in Merica, very cool, not for everyone.

valuable as Real American Money

kek shits worthless

they are paying double because they are buying a service you dunce. maintaining a property is expensive and I want my properties to well maintain hence the charge to cover those costs. I recently had bathrooms remodeled and that put me back $15k. im able to do that because i charge my tenants to live on my property. Also did you know not everyone wants to own a house, there are a lot of professionals out there that are on 1-5yr contracts that are constantly moving for work related reason. providing a nice home for them to stay in is perfectly reasonable. and if they are planning to stay then there is nothing stopping them from becoming a home owner. I done owner financing before and will do it again if I find the right tenants.

that polished concrete floor is nice

go demoralize someone who deserves it, and leave the effortposters alone

Yes of course.
But if i had the money to do so (aka 1.5 millions). I would make a house that can withstand the passing of time. Most castles, manors, temples etc. Made this way survived, if not destroyed by wars or natural disasters. Out side that, time itself couldn't do shit.
Also, when facing such making, people are more incentivized to maintain such buildings and it create a self feeding loop.

Make a new thread
This was a good thread
We're not done talking
