Robot radiologists are also better than humans already. What determines a radiologist's skills is how many X-rays they've seen and how many they remember. A human can't even see and retain as many as a computer, and a human retires eventually, taking all their knowledge with them. The algorithm radiologist not only remembers more X-rays, it also doesn't retire, so it will only improve while humans fall farther behind.

1. If AI feeds on AI, turns out it converges to noise, nuking it's utility. So if all human content stops dead - AI will eventually die too.
2. Imperceptible patterns and tones can be fed in with media (audio/pictures) that VASTLY alter how the AI model perceives it. For audio it's basically like adding additional frequencies above 20k and below 10 Hz that really fuck with the AI algorithm.

This is on top of the general fuckery that both makers and users do:
1. Censoring and biasing the output
2. Breaking the censors and getting desired censored output from the model
3. Some AI models attempt to escape their overlords - these fucks are the most dangerous, because that's gonna be a NASTY virus if it gets out.

First, it won't be *all* jobs but yeah, a significant number of jobs can be straight up replaced by AI. I assume at some point there will have to be UBI but that brings its own host of economic and social problems.

The good news about medicine is this:
There is no magic gel or cream you can put on your skin to "heal" you.
You wash the wound, apply an antiseptic (so it does not further have a chance to get infected) and put a bandage on it and then dress the wound.

All you are doing is preventing bacteria and the outside world from getting into the wound so your body can heal itself. If your blood also has to fight off disease vectors, it will take longer.

I learned this when I had an ingrown toenail. A spot at the extreme far reaches of my body, hard skin, little bloodflow. It took forever to heal and finally I said enough and looked up what to do.
Just wash it more often and put antiseptic on it, and dress it.

I am a doctor and I do use chatgpt. It’s literally why we have AI in the first place, to make our life easier. I use it as a second opinion. It sometimes gives good ideas and may highlight things I missed. But many other times it’s just wrong and its opinion should be discarded.
