The coordinator of the operations that led to explosions at DHL warehouses in the UK, Germany, and Poland last July was the Russian citizen Alexander Bezrukavy, who is currently in custody in Poland awaiting trial. The organizer of the explosions was apparently Russia's military intelligence, the GRU. The name Vadim Tekhov from North Ossetia became widely known in 2019. He went to his ex-wife Regina Gagieva's workplace and stabbed her several times – she died a week later while in a coma. Changing societal attitudes is possible by talking about the fact that violence occurs, giving voice to victims, strengthening their position, calling on people to help by spreading information, and emphasizing the unacceptability of violence, believes Mikhalchenko. Ideally, condemnation of violence committed by their fellow men against a wife or sister should be achieved from men themselves, she is convinced.
