I did DMT today it's the same as shrooms and you can control the dose by how much and how long you inhale. It's the same as shrooms just faster. Both just amplify consciousness. Without knowing what to do with your consciousness, you won't make any meaningful progress. Amplifying your consciousness though reveals flaws, allows you to perceive more, allows you to understand your place and your standing relative to the world, etc. it's a way of accelerating your development. A mind that is being overclocked with intense power can figure shit out much faster. You still need to learn to think rationally, avoid fallacious reasoning, prioritize, all that stuff. The psychedelics is just a tool to experience more fully, to get oneself out of the mire, to confront ones fears and loves but blown up. It is better to be hot or cold than to be lukewarm and psychedelics do that, the laughter is more intense, everything is more intense. They are a tool for exploration, self-discovery, and perfection but you still got to make the proper efforts. If part of your character is to develop delusions and deceive yourself, the psychedelics will amplify that too, and hopefully another part of your personality will notice and then make adjustments to make you a more honest and better person.

There is a state of mind called equanimity. If you can ever reach it then nothing will ever hurt you again and all past hurts will seem like as if they never had been, never were anything, just fade away. In such a state of mind you are still in the world but totally at peace with all of it and the fear of death is gone. Nobody can do anything against you, and you can laugh like a sufi master even as the worst persecutions confront you. It is a right and noble thing to abolish fear from your life completely.
