This is true. Your correlation with gravity and the speed of light is also correct, but gravity does not “travel”, it propagates. It is a physical force of the universe caused by the curvature of spacetime from the presence of mass, not some thing that is emitted or behaves like light. When a black hole forms, the curvature of spacetime outside the event horizon is already set, and there’s not one goddamn force or universal law that says gravity must be “sent out” of an event horizon to be maintained. So implying that “gravity escapes the black hole” is just fundamentally retarded. There is no paradox. gravity isn’t something that escapes from a black hole, it’s the curvature of spacetime around it. That curvature exists outside the event horizon and doesn’t require anything to be transmitted from inside.
