Video games never really reached their potential like people my age (early 30s) thought they would. Growing up in the early 2000s and walking into a game rental place and having just shelves upon shelves of 7/10 PS2 genre titles to choose from. I thought that we were at the beginning of something, not the end of its peak.
You're having a generation of kids raised on Battle Royale slop. They never sat down by themselves on a weekend and completed a single player game. I just don't see kids growing attached to video games like my generation did.
