I remember working an easy part time job and making enough to have my own decent apartment, car, and I could afford to eat out now and then. A person could leave their car unlocked in a parking lot and nobody would steal from it. You didn't have to lock your front door. Food at restaurants was safe and the person behind the counter was White.
Things really went to shit in the last 20 years. It's so sad because I know it isn't going back and future generations will have it worse and worse.
