I work for the NDIS and I have zero respect for the scheme based off of what I have seen.
Lazy as shit immigrants who barely speak english rock up for a 5 hour "personal care" shift only to go on their phone or watch TV the entire time, NDIS clients not having their houses cleaned despite on paper having 10hrs a week assigned for workers to do just that (I usually take less than 15 minutes to clean one client's house and he praises the fuck out of me because the standard is so fucking low), getting paid for 2hrs to literally go to a guy's house, collect $15 cash from him, go buy him a coffee at a local cafe and stop by woolies for 2L of milk and bring back the change and receipt (literally 2hrs pay for 20 minutes of actual "work").

I literally just play the role of a glorified Uber driver and just exist to make sure the person doesn't have a meltdown in public and the taxpayer is forking over almost $90 an hour for it on a weekday and well over $100 an hour for weekends and public holidays.
