If you speak to a Chinese guy and you're more on the level with them, they can speak to things in China that are not good and what they think should be improved. A common thing is that the Chinese government has lots of power and can be corrupt, but this is in response to seeing how oligarchies just run everything in the west and just make their corruption legal.
They'll admit that parts of China are really shit but other parts are improving and so on the whole the people accept things are trending upwards, point is they can say some parts are bad....Indians just can't do this about India. The self awareness is critical in improving things because otherwise...why improve?

China creates incentives to local governments to get people setting up manufacturing or whatever in their sectors, because this means lots of money in the long run. India will just start trying to scam every step of the way so people leave.
